I love how they referenced most of their previous MV’s. Starting it off with Jennie on the blinged on tank like in DDDD, Lisa on that SUV like in Boombayah, Jisoo with the umbrella shot also like in DDDD, Rosé on the world like in Whistle. After the first chorus with the raps Jennie in the bathtub with the match and Lisa on the bridge like in Playing With Fire, Jisoo with the photos and Rosé swinging on the chandelier referencing DDDD again.

This whole mv is a homage to their old mvs.. 🔥🔥 I love it .. all the scenes are references to their old mv scenes
I think it's "Me three, if I was you" because it's (It's me!), (me too!), and sometimes people said (me three!) and (me four!) after someone said 'me too' instead of also saying 'too', as another way to agree on something. However, saying (me three) also indicates that there are, in fact, more than 2 people.
So it can be said that she's using it just because it is an existing way to say 'me too' which just happened to rhyme with the previous lyrics, but also can be taken as her addressing multiple people.
She's basically just saying "y'all just a bunch of wannabees trying to be me. I get you though. I will want to be me too if I were you."
That's probably what that was.
Honestly this is my favorite title song. My top 3 are in order : Tally, Shut Down, and Typa Girl
all of the sets at the start are the upgraded versions of their older sets since the start of their music videos, i just felt so at home when i watched it for the first time

First reaction in Korea yay! It was hard waiting all day to check this out but I'm glad I did and they shut it down what can I say the swag on this song felt effortless. It's not just that the song structure is different but their energy delivering it feels different. I haven't even listened to the album yet and between pink venom and this I'm already changing my mind I thought I wasn't going to go to the tour since I saw them last time but I want to hear these songs live.

I think the message of this title track is: they are going to a new type of music or production.. something they've never tried. It makes sense esp when members are re-introducing scenes from previous tracks then rolling the roll-up doors down which means they're kind of closing that phase. I think this is also why shut down was the song after pink venom. Because PV is a very blankpink song. And after that is shut down..after shut down are new songs which are really new to me as a casual BP listener. Not a fan but I'm always curious and watch out every time the have a comeback. Congrats BP for stepping it up 👏💖🖤

Honestly, I have never been a BlackPink fan. They are talented just their music isn't really for me. They have a few songs that very close to be put on my playlist but not quite there. (I have heard almost of their songs on their albums, at least on sportify). However, this is, in my opinion, is their best songs and will make it onto my playlist. Good job girls. (Whistle and Du DU Du Du are the ones that almost made it).

I’m aware that they don’t write it’s just not how the music is presented, they’re delivering so that’s why it’s taken in that way.
The girls are credited as creative directors and they've already said that they're very involved in the song making process so I fully believe they most definitely contributed to lyrics or at least ideas. These lyrics are way too specific to be not.
