ever since kill this love i've been keeping expectations low for BP; how you like that was okay, the lady gaga collab was alright (to be fair that wasn't their song), definitely wasn't a fan of ice cream. i've always loved them since debut but ever since they departed from the playing with fire/as if it's your last sound i've always kinda been let down but MAN. they blew this out of the water!! i love that we get an actual singing chorus and it brings me back to 2017 blackpink without feeling old or dated. definitely gives me avril lavigne, "end of a teen movie" type of feelings but in a really good way. can't wait to get to the album tbh

Since KTL, I’ve fallen off from them, and they weren’t feeling genuine enough for me to become a fan again. But this time, I could actually feel good listening to the song and appreciate them again. Anyway, I’m proud of them for finally improving their sound, and I intend to give the album a chance.
