Renovation is always stressful, but in the end, it is always worth it. What a job you guys have done, great taste.
It is also great to see that Turkish seller immeadiately solves the missing part problem for the radiator on the phone.

It's funny, the first thing we did when we bought our house in South Florida was to rip out all the wall to wall carpeting. Replaced it with engineered wood flooring. Looks great and it's easy to clean.
It’s the old Englishman in me, I was brought up with carpets Everywhere even in the toilet and bathroom

We renovated our first house in 1999, took the best part of 3 years, finding competent workmen was the hardest part esp as English was hardly spoken, property prices were a lot lower then!

You did a beautiful job of making this place very comfortable and classic looking. Trudie's got good taste and Mick is very skilled with the tools and making things fit together and work! One thing that was a bit hard on the ears was when Mick turned the drill on for some reason the sound got very loud and unbearable for me...granted I do have sensitive ears. There was also a part where I think Mick was outside and it sounded like he was yelling very loud and I had to adjust my sound.

Everything is great except the carpet. I would prefer all hard floors or ceramic tiles in hot areas. Here in Canada I own a professional carpet cleaning company and I love to clean them but hate to live with them. When I bought my house brand new I got rid of the brand new carpets and installed hardwood and moved in. Most Canadians love to have carpets in their bedrooms because it keeps their rooms warmer plus gives a good damping, with hardwood floors you can hear people walking but not with carpets. Although I still prefer hardwood because it's easier to maintain. I hope they have some good carpet cleaners where you are.
