Gigaba can mention the fact that, to many housholds in South Africa, R3000 is a luxury. He feels no shame and remorse for looting the money belonging to South African taxpayers. He deserves to be in prison for his crimes.

What she said about "There's nothing in my life I can do with R3000" was an arrogant statement IMO.
I agree, she was arrogant and the commission sometimes misses the point of asking star witnesses where or how they make their money. Most star witnesses pretend to be anti corruption when infact they are just as corrupt but happen to be in the right faction.
Zondo must not open the door for those who will be damned by his final report to expose the corruption of witnesses like Mngoma tarnishing his findings as preconceived.
It did sound arrogant but if it was honest I'm satisfied. We want the truth in that commssion. Gigaba must explain the bags of money from the Guptas.
She was very honest with that statement she was referring to herself in her lifestyle
I think considering this is a state capture commission where many live in poverty due to state capture, she could have phrased it in a less arrogant way. She could have said "R3000 is little money for my lifestyle" or "R3000 is not enough for my kind of expenses". When she said it does nothing in her life and the tone she said it in, she said it in such a way that belittled the actual value of R3000. She benefited from citizen taxes through state capture by not having to worry about her rent, her household services and tariffs, her travel. All she bought was the clothes on her back and groceries. Any family would be lucky not to have to worry about the things their taxes are paying for her.
Malusi come in man, trying to claim that Noma has money is a blatant lie.

Even if he was not South African it doesn't matter. We are happy for him to have made it this far but beyond here a court must decide his fate.
