I think it's really brave for you to come out publicly about your forbidden love , hope your parents don't take it too badly. Sat on the Honda x adv recently but don't dare test ride one so I'll stay in the closet for now. Definitely getting one of them blanket thingys for my Tuono though.
I was touring through Wales on my z1000sx last year, was pushing on pretty well and came up behind a honda adv scooter, when he seen me in his mirror he decided to have a play with me, and, I'll own up here, he pulled a gap on me and there was nothing I could do about it, the way he was riding I could see he wasn't even trying and he had even more pace if needed. I was giving my all to stay with the guy. Respect to him and respect to scooters lol
RE THE LOST KEY CODE: according to an article I found (dated Nov 2023, so should still be relevant), the 6 digit PIN code is written on the chip inside the key fob. Not sure what's involved in opening the key fob plastics to get to the chip, but this might be worth exploring.
After years of bikes issues with my left hand/foot forced a re appraisal.Long rides on the twisties hurt and as I knew you were a fan decided to take a look at a T Max. a test ride on an old one convinced me that it was the way to go. Found a really nice 2012 low mileage 500 and I love it and so does my partner who lost interest in bikes but bought new kit and loves getting out on the T Max.
I have been following you for almost 15 years and now you are officially an old man with your scooter blanket, which makes me feel old the same.. Thanks mate ! Cheers 🎉
I'm in Australia and there are plenty of delivery small scooters, but I've had my 2015 Forza 300 for 7 years now and it's an amazing machine. But here we have the same problem, people don't think it's a real bike. They really just need to try them. Mine does the motorway at well over the speed limit, plenty of storage and I have the top box when required. It's just a great, practical and fun machine.
Keep these vids going please - great watching. If you ride and talk about 2 wheels you get respect! - Winter corrosion - I replace all fastenings with 316 stainless steel (A4-80) from Westfield Fasterners. No corrosion or deterioration. Some say this may set up a galvanic cell with a steel / aluminum frame but I have never experienced this. Allows winter riding with no deterioration of cheep stock coated carbon steel fasteners. - Insurance - Why is it possible to get £3,300 and £450 quotes for the same rider, same machine and same area? Someone should do something about the insurance racket! (rant over).

Mine got nearly stolen from Pyrmont, Sydney .. The main gate saved it that needed a swipe to leave the apartment building. Still 750$ damage, steering lock, ignition, top triple, KO.. Great to see you giving good press to the TMax, I’ve had approaching 60 motorcycles and my Tech max is one of three, I also have a Rocket 3 and a 1290 super adventure. I’ve done almost 12000 miles from new in 23. It’s my go to machine for any ride. Took it over the Picos d Europa and down through Portugal to Gibraltar and back up through central Spain. If I need to pare down my garage, the TMax will be the keeper.
'Real bikers' look down their noses at scooters until about 20 seconds after riding one. At which point they git giddy eyed and go out and buy one. I often chat to bikers about mine, some can be pretty dismissive, I then role off a little of my biking 'history' (and other current bikes) and remark that it (forza 300) is about the most fun bike ive ever ridden.Ive thought about trading up to a bigger one like yours or adv/forza 750 but it kinda then misses the point. And more to the point I probably wouldnt ride the others at all. Thanks Michael, a great pleasure listening to your thoughts once again.
@@splodge57 Cool.I think the older ones are way more stylish personally absent the angular plastics and so on. I got mine when I broke bones in my hand meaning I couldnt use a clutch lever, It had lived on the back of a motorhome so plastics were a little scuffed in places but mechanically perfect. 2 grand! And Im with you, best money ive ever spent. Feels like a very kind natured dependable and loveable friend!
@@mwng5186 Totally agree my brother-in-law has to Forza 350. I personally have a Piaggio X 10 never any doubt which one gets talked about the most and the most interesting to anybody around.
I am pretty sure the service intervals are not every 3000 miles... first is at 600 miles then 6000 - 12000 - 18000 etc. So 6000 miles intervals or annually.
A lot of people look down on Scooters in France too and especially TMaxes. And by the way you are the only one who can tell me how good it is without me falling from my chair ;-)
Never had a maxi scooter till I got an '09 xmax 250 which I absolutely loved, for all the reasons you mentioned. Don't have deep pockets, got a lot out of that scooter with very little in it, was saving for something better while that got me through a few years, I had a bigger budget and a short, variable list of machines, only room for one machine, got a bmw f750gs with all the bells and whistles and a topbox (it was simply the bargain that came up first) which I love (used often like a scooter!) but when the belt has to be tightened a bit more I'll end up on an adv 350!, anyway I can understand why you love the Tmax, makes perfect sense to me!
LOL AT THE 22 MIN SEGMENT. PERFECT, SO MUCH TIME AND ENTHUSIASM. FULL TMAX NERD ACTIVATED! (THANK GOODNESS I DONT HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH "THAT STUFF" DOWN UNDER) MY WEE SUZ ADDRESS 110CC SCOOTER IS MY FAVE BIKE! SO CHEAP AND FUN. NIPPY TOO. MAKES SO MUCH SENSE TO HAVE A MIGHTY SCOOTER IN THE STABLE!
Back in the mid- late-naughties I owned a Honda SilverWing 600. I live on the South Coast of NSW (Australia) and used the scooter for local riding AND touring. I've covered the bottom 2/3 of NSW (from Dubbo/Newcastle) south and most of Victoria (from Echuca/Warrnambool to the east including the Victorian high country). I could put everything I needed for 5/6 days in the "boot" under the seat. Note: I don't camp but stay in old country pubs where ever I could. I've ridden it in all sorts of weather, in pouring rain on a freeway I remained quite dry even without water proofs. It was a great bike. Friends had BMW RT's and GS's and I toured much further and much more often than them. Later I exchanged a Kawasaki VN900 for a Honda Forza 300! What was I thinking? I know you spoke well of the Forza but for riding outside the city in Australia it really is not a good choice. I always fancied a TMax but they are just too expensive here in Australia. If I was in the market for a new scooter today either of the Honda 750's looks very good or maybe (probably) the Honda NX750. Lastly, maxi scooters SHOULD be taken seriously! Particularly if you do one-up touring. Thanks for a great video, Peter
Wow, you must realy like it, never heard so much enthusiasm and pride in your voice talking about any bike😁 I'm in my late 30's and I've learned to accept and try different kind of bikes, but I always said if you don't struggle to close your garage door or walkway from a bike it's not the right bike. I still love sports bikes and could sleep in my leathers, guess I need more time 🤦 nice bike though, and I'm glad you love living with it👌
I can see the attraction as 66 years old here and with over half a century riding/racing, past Christmas 2024 I sold my 2012 R1 and bought a black/graphite scheme MT-03 and I'm laughing every ride. Cost was AU$8,349.00 rideaway new (2025 UK Quid 4,194.91) Beautifully smooth and Yamaha's Indonesian factory impresses me overall. I've never felt so relaxed on public roads since I was 17 a long time ago. Australia here by the way! Enjoy!!!!
Thanks for your content, really enjoy your work. I am a scooter convert too. I sold a Multistrada for an ADV 350 in 2022 for practical work reasons - and I have so much fun on it, it's outrageous! I live in London so insurance is simply wanker tax. I don't know how you get 100mpg from the 350 Honda engine, I average 72. But then that might be how I ride it? I also have a Termoscud blanket for mine. They're brilliant but I've found you can't wear lined trousers with it, you cook...! One or the other, not both. I have bought a KTM 1190 Adventure since I bought the ADV, but I rarely ride it because the Honda is exactly what I need for what I do. And yes, supermarket runs are fun. I have a Givi top box and the 2 helmet sized underseat storage so I can get loads on the bike. Only issue, my OH also likes to ride it. She knows I love it, and I always tell her that I worry more about her than the bike, but she knows I'm lying🤣 Keep up the good work. 👍🏽
Real bikers love them and love all the bikes. For cities, suburbs, shopping and commuting you can't get anything better. I only find it a little boring on a longer trips, other than that it's great. I always have one in my garage 😀
Hi Michael, Thanks for the video. I’m happy to hear all of that from you as a journalist I trust. It’s a pity that people look down on the TMAX. Around the city, it might even be more comfortable and agile than a GS. I’ve owned a number of bikes, ranging from smaller to larger engine capacities, with plenty of power. Once I tried the Burgman and TMAX, I fell in love with those bikes. The TMAX really feels more like a motorcycle. To be honest, if I needed a bike for commuting and occasional travel, I’d seriously consider the TMAX or the X-ADV as an all-in-one solution. They might not look fancy to “real bikers,” but the comfort and tech are hard to beat. Honestly, I don’t think motorcycles are even necessary in town. As for the price-yes, it does seem pricey at first. But if you look at the TMAX as a motorcycle and compare it to anything else on the market, the closest bikes in terms of tech, features, and other characteristics (excluding performance and power) are over £15k. So it’s actually within the price range-just a different concept. I think riders need to be open-minded about that. Thanks again, and I hope you can create more content about top-tier maxi scooters! Cheers!
i live in the south of France and have ridden a mates T Max and was blown away by it , i have always hadf sports bikes and now have an sv1000s and a z900rs se but would not hesitate to buy a t max if my garage was big enough
Hi Michael, I’ve been wondering how you’ve been getting on with the MIGHTY MAX especially as you’ve no car. It’s great to hear everything’s going well 👍 I was quite excited when I got a notification from your channel, especially when it’s TMax related 😉🛵 I can’t wait to get out on mine when the weather improves! Good info about the pillion comfort, my wife usually comes out on the back. I had to modify the rear foot pegs as she has long legs and she didn’t find it overly comfortable so I fitted a pillion peg lowering kit which isn’t specific to Yamaha. Just waiting on a few tricky bits to land which will probably make the bike more stealable. Keep up the scooter content as we look forward to it. I have to say it’s such a refreshing change to the usual bike content. Stay safe & enjoy 😉🛵🏁
Never owned a scooter, never even ridden one, but this one is somehow exciting. I mean the price is a little bit over the top but as long as you can justify paying this amount there is absolutely nothing wrong with rocking this machine down the streets. Great video as always.
I brought a second hand 400 burgman in great nick for £1000, I hardly go out on my motorbikes now, it's great comfortable nippy frugal and I love being on it.
Brilliant video, informative and truthful.. I am now a pensioner, riding all types of bikes but never a scooter.. But I have briefly ridden a 350 Honda and a burg an 400..I must admit it was brilliant.. Still haven't got one yet but I'm now considering one in the future.. Why? Getting older, dodgy hips, arthritis is making me having more difficulty getting on and off my bike.. I do love the look at the Tmax, but unfortunately a bit big for me.. I have noticed more bikers now buying scooters in my age group. So I think it may be a growing market as bikers like me will either have to move over to scooters, or give up riding.. Look forward to your update in a few months time..
Thanks Michael another great one. Ok can't afford a late one but certainly could be tempted to buy an older one when my GS gets to heavy for me. I know they don't look cool but my Bar Muffs are a must during the Winter because has you said I can wear Summer weight gloves.
I can't believe your insurance, just renewed my TMax for second time with Hastings and paying half what you said with just 2 years no claims. I'm in South West so maybe that is the difference. The heated grips could definitely be warmer, feels like there should be a 4th setting. The seat though is super warm, settling 2 enough otherwise i get cooked lol. Keep enjoying it, great machine 👍👍
I've got the Africa twin 1100 and the ADV 350 . The little scoot gets riden every day rain of shine. Last year my son rode the ADV down to Croatia 🇭🇷 and back with me and it never missed a beat. Perfect touring bike. However I still get the piss taken for riding it 😅
Gordon !! Bennett’s Bennett’s Bennett’s 💷💥😂. Neevesy just a regular bloke list the rest of us then; no industry contacts to help Bennett’s match the others. (Bennett’s bike social is only for bikers with Richard Hammond money then it seems … wonder if they’d do him a mates rate?! lol.) I’m selling my Zx9r because I can’t ride it because I have zero skills and it’s scares me and have only have fun on it once coming back from Mallory park track day , had more fun on way home… must have warmed up by then but I was slower than my nan on track on 9r. Thanks for helping me think outside the box Neevesy top stuff again 👌🙌🙏
Thanks for doing the videos- look forward to them each week. Glad you're enjoying your scooter. Was wondering whether you considered the honda nc 750. I know it's a bike and probably not as nimble as a scooter but does come with DCT or manual, has storage in the frunk, very fuel efficient and insurance probably lower? With a top box storage nearly as good as your scooter and touring capability maybe better. Different vibe than a scooter tho! Can't wait for next video. Cheers Cam
As a Ducati Monster and scooter owner, it's great to see my choices vindicated! Too late now, but that Tucano Urbano Termoscud is available from Urban Rider in London, so no import duty.
don't know if you'd be willing to make a trip down to london for it but there's a guy on youtube that i love to watch that does locksmithing and key fob copying called access denied car keys, he seems to have every single key fob under the sun and a crazy hacky device to recode them all. he charges way less than dealerships too. might try giving him a shout!
Regarding the spare fob key, I bought a new one from the Yamaha dealer in Malta, and had no problems with them to code the new fob key with my 2019 Tmax. They should have the software to do it. Also for your old fob key code, when you remove the key from the fob you have the code printed in the actual fob key. It’s a white sticker with black numbers. Hope this helps 😊
Not a hundred % sure, but I think some of the rift between bikes and scooters, harps back to the mods and rockers . Knocking nine bells out of each other lol. Now just bike snobs I think. Just look at the fuss over the Yamaha Niken 🙄. I nod and wave at all, if it don't get a response,so what. Had a stint away from bikes and on returning, I was looking to get a scooter and had folk who didn't even ride, trying to convince me not too, oddly. Ended up buying a 44 yr old air head, no mot or road tax, "Stuck Farmer" and loving it. Enjoy your videos neevsey 👍
I am looking forward to Greece this summer and hiring a 600 scooter, I would love one for buzzing about. There is no comparison to public transport Mr. Neevesy. Used train tickets are worthless, the scooter will depreciate but still worth something, as my old mate always used to point out. The rack looks well handy it would become a third seat for village pub visits in the summer. 2 pints of Scrumpy and both my kids on the back going home,
As someone who commutes in freezing temps for about decade now, the least useful things I could think of are heated seat and that scooter skirt... Not mentioning the hand muffs, LOL. I simply switch to winter gloves, winter balaclava, plus the usual, 2-layered touring gear. Never ever felt that my bottom or my legs need heating.
I was never interested in motorcycles but always fancied a Vespa 300. Eventually got a brand new Vespa after having to take a full motorcycle test due to the power of it. Kept the Vespa for about 12 months and now have a Honda adv350 which I think is great, although not as cool looking as the Vespa! Now wondering about a brand new Tmax or have the adv350 and another Vespa, decisions decisions!
Once upon a time in the UK, the Lambretta SX200 was the scooter to have, and, as a minimum, you had to fit a fly screen and some crash bars to which you attached a ridiculous amount of car mirrors!
You'll be interested to know that down here in Melbourne you can pick up a 2020 560 T-Max with 8,000kms on the clock for about $13,000. That comes out at around £6,500. So a bloody bargain I reckon.
I enjoy riding my scooter at least as much as my bikes. This is the 9th winter on the Honda Forza and it is covered in salt but only gets a wash and wipe over with WD40 every month or two. Still comes up like nearly new.😂
You can do serious distance on a scooter. I went down to Lands End and back on a Honda Supercub C125 in winter a couple of years ago. It was uncomfortable but doable. I bet doing that on your T-Max would have been wonderful.
Awesome video! The thing is with scooters , they are so approachable and easy. Would I take my GS to the market? Probably not. I don't think the Tmax is available in the States. I am looking for a scooter because it would be fun. BTW it looks like the skid has moved out of under the seat. Hopefully we will see the Skid soon. Best!
This debate about scooters are looked down, it's just the same as people used to say about automatic and hybrid cars, not a proper riding/driving experience yet, most people use these vehicles for commute and there is no better vehicle than a maxi scooter or a hybrid car. For the occasional weekend blast, a nice naked superbike or a manual sports car, but for everyday comfort and frugality...😊
Thank you, There is another negative to both the muffs and the blanket... they destroy the smart looks of the TMAX... I simply use my motorcycle gear on my Aprilia. This brings the added benefit of having protectors in it. Most of my commuting is done on the Aprilia. I also do a bit of long distance travel on it, it shares the drive train with the Piaggio MP3 500, power is really sufficient when you stay within the legal limits. I mainly use it long distance because it is so easy to clean. Much simpler than my 'proper' bikes. The drive train is fully enclosed, which makes cleaning and maintaining a breeze. Yet I still have my car. Do you use your TMAX on real slippery roads? Like snow and/or black ice. For me that is the reason I still have my car (and... I love cars). Oh... I also have a top box. When I ride the Aprilia for fun, I leave it at home. It is so f.... ugly! And I am old enough not to worry too much about looks 😊
Crikey find Bennetts one of most expensive, I have 30 years riding I have with no claims, can't beat scooters they are brilliant had them for years great for the commute can't fault um and all that storage under the seat. Just sold the burgman 400 after 5 years with no issues, now have the adv 350 Honda also had the xadv 750 2 of them but they were to heavy. Age isn't on my side unfortunately. Keep the t-max they are great.
As a current Honda ADV350 rider...I wish I got 100mpg! More like 70-80mpg from winter to summer. The under-seat storage space is unbeaten though in the scooter world though, my XL helmet drops in no problem and I can fit my jacket or a rucksack under there too. With my top box I can carry over 100L of stuff!
Can Yamaha corporate tell you the key code that came with the original VIN and ECU? Also check the owner's manual that came with the bike. Sometimes the owner or dealer writes down this code somewhere inside. It's not a matter of IF the fob battery goes dead when but WHEN. Most bikes give you a low battery warning on the dash ahead of time. Don't leave the fob next to the bike overnight or it might turn dead as fried chicken and you're screwed. Unless you keep a spare fob battery with you at all times with the ability to change it out anywhere. If you can somehow get the original key code, then the dealership should be able to help you get the spare fob you bought cloned to the original. Or if not try a modern day locksmith. They can often clone automobile fobs depending on how sophisticated.
We use my Himalayan 411 as my sole transport, with boxes on while we live in Southern Spain. The weekly shop is also a pleasure, spinning slowly down the coast road. I think our next bike over here will be a big scooter. They are much more open to Chinese bikes over here, I've fallen for the QJ Motor Fort 4.0 Maxi Scooter which is only 4,999 euros with a 6 year warranty. Try RE performance on UA-cam for advice on your key problem. He's had a coded key made for a Lamborghini, can a TMAX be harder?
Smart key - its a bit baffling. I've got a 2017 model (maybe later ones are different) with that keyfob. I enquired about buying a spare key and they said that the key was available from Yamaha at a reasonable price, but it would needed programming to work on the bike - at a price of around £250 all in. Didn't think that was worth it so didn't bother. Certainly the implication then was that a spare key was quite possible without requiring a new ECU or anything like that. Maybe later models are even more complex. Personally, I find the system a hassle. It'd be OK if it wasn't advisable to switch the key off to save the battery, and the key is getting finicky about the battery - you must have a battery in tip-top condition or it complains. And if your battery does go flat, the emergency procedure is so complex and liable to error, it will be a disaster!
Thanks for the video. I heard you mention the 350cc Hondas. I didn’t hear you mention the Tmax’s little brother, the Xmax? Are those Hondas that much better? Have you tried an Xmax?
Had a 50cc scoot when I was 20. Put a 70cc kit on it, it'd wheelie away from stop if you got it right. Could fit a carton of beer on the running board and a bag of ice under the seat, what more could an Aussie lad need?
I purchased an Xmax300 about3 weeks ago for commuting following your comments on scooters. P/ex a Tracer 7 for it. I still have a ‘proper’ bike for the summer but for commuting it is so easy. I was one of those bikers that looked down on scooter riders and now I know I’m being looked down at but don’t give a monkeys.
Biggest advantage for a two up rider is with the topbox she can still get on without serious gymnastics. I will not show my wife this video for obvious reasons! 🙃
I bought mine from Tamworth brand new and within 10 miles of the dealership, 4 guys on two scooters tried to get me to pull over because there was “wire on my back wheel”. I realised instantly they were going to take the max, I took off ( running in) and they followed, stopped at a red light I watched them like a hawk pulling in front of a stopped car. Eventually I opened her up and got onto the M42 and left them.
Perhaps one thing that is not mentioned is that scooters must have a very low centre of gravity. I know from when I 1st rode an 800GS for two days and then jumping unto a 1200GS immediately after how big a difference it made. I was blown away. Hence I went and bought one. Kinda wish more people rode them in the UK. I'd be more keen to get one. There is a bit of a perception about them. Where I come from girls rode them and boys bikes when I was in school. Not saying it's a girls bike but girls with skirts kinda just preferred it and I guess that is where the negative perception I have about it started. I have enjoyed them when I rode them on holiday. My best friend has the BMW and I've ridden that too. He loves it and goes everywhere with it. I like that you are just so genuine. No pretences. Strangely not very British I think without wanting to offend anyone. But I think pride often stops many from buying it and also wanting cars like say a 300 Merc when a 200 is the same really and cheaper.

All the freedom of two wheels, but with comfort, tech and loads of storage. There a no brainer for me 👍
I think the UK’s differentiation between scooters and motorcycles is a hangover from the two wheel scene in the 60s with the Mods and Rockers.

What's wrong with Vespas?

The main gate saved it that needed a swipe to leave the apartment building.
Still 750$ damage, steering lock, ignition, top triple, KO..
So yeah don't worry, if it's a nice bike it can still be stolen in Sydney.
Later down the track my MTB got actually stolen..

Yep, got a Honda ADV350 plus my 1250GS. I've had a few scooters as second 'bikes'. Love 'em 😊

£15k? I had absolutely no idea!
I'm totally gobsmacked at that price. More expensive than a MT09 SP, Tracer 9 GT+ and MT10... 😮
Isn’t it wild? You can buy a Bimota SB6 for 10K or less !!
YES we love Tmax content, spread the good word of Scootering.
I am pretty sure the service intervals are not every 3000 miles... first is at 600 miles then 6000 - 12000 - 18000 etc. So 6000 miles intervals or annually.
You really should buy givi maxia 5. Spray paint it dark petrol like your bike. It suit tmax so well. We in malaysia love scooter too.
Very cool scooter, Neevesy. I didn't realise these have so many features.
As an all year round rider. I've got scooter blanket envy.
I have a 2022 Honda Xadv 750, brilliant bit of kit 😊👍🏻
One of my first jobs was putting miles on scooters for a fuel injection company, fell in love with riding from sr50's.
Thanks for a great video,
Peter
Enjoy!!!!
Hi, I’ve just purchased a Tmax the same colour as yours 2024 because of your video ❤.. I’m easily led.. it should be with me this week 😊
Wow! I hope you like it 🤞🤞🤞
Thanks for your content, really enjoy your work.
She knows I love it, and I always tell her that I worry more about her than the bike, but she knows I'm lying🤣
Keep up the good work.
It’s great to hear everything’s going well 👍 I was quite excited when I got a notification from your channel, especially when it’s TMax related 😉🛵
I can’t wait to get out on mine when the weather improves!
Your Led Zeppelin comment made me very happy, and I already thought you were the best UA-camr 😊
Absolutely love that you wear a custom painted alpinestars supertech r10 on the t-max. So baller lol!
Bestest bike in the best channel. How I want to own one again if a good prices one shows up... Sniff sniff haha
I thought the mods and rockers were what created the divide and it seems to have stuck?
YEEESSSSS!!! The TMAX looks awesome!
I bought a 125 pcx for my girlfriend to commute to work. But its great fun when I use it for my 50 mile commute, motorway is no problem!
Cool bike Neevesy. Enjoy.
Great stuff. Keep us updated how you get on. :)
I have Vespa gts300, plus a number of normal bikes, the scooter is a blast and I love riding it.
Cheers Cam
When you mentioned the price of a new Tmax I was wondering if I had misheard you. 😱
Key, the question becomes, can it be updated, or is it hard coded (based on an internal chip or something). Yamaha should know.
I've been looking at the xmax 300 as a runabout .
When i had my tmax I had no problem getting my feet down , and I’m a shorty , just slide forward of the seat a bit , taa dah feet down 😊👍👍
Regarding the spare fob key, I bought a new one from the Yamaha dealer in Malta, and had no problems with them to code the new fob key with my 2019 Tmax. They should have the software to do it. Also for your old fob key code, when you remove the key from the fob you have the code printed in the actual fob key. It’s a white sticker with black numbers. Hope this helps 😊
Those that know, know! I use mine more than my 2 Ducati's & BMW GS1250 out here in Portugal, it's fantastic more or less all the bike you need(ish!)
Postie bike ( Honda NBC), smiles for miles gotta be best value bike I own 😁
Not a hundred % sure, but I think some of the rift between bikes and scooters, harps back to the mods and rockers .
Hello Michael, glad u enjoy your scooter, looking forward for tyre input. 15 inch is an issue...
Once upon a time in the UK, the Lambretta SX200 was the scooter to have, and, as a minimum, you had to fit a fly screen and some crash bars to which you attached a ridiculous amount of car mirrors!
pure knowledge!
Now i want one. You can tell you use it as a car by the tire wear (it looks like a car tire now).
You'll be interested to know that down here in Melbourne you can pick up a 2020 560 T-Max with 8,000kms on the clock for about $13,000. That comes out at around £6,500. So a bloody bargain I reckon.
I’ve been riding a Vespa GTS for 15 years now and would consider a larger scooter if some were available in Canada
Wish they had one in the states I could try.
Heyup , the blanket would be better if it was tartan , and a flask holder .Tommy Tickle
T max’s are go 👊👍
Can Yamaha corporate tell you the key code that came with the original VIN and ECU?
I’m taking 6 TMaxes to Belgium on a short trip end of April, feel free to join us.
Thanks for the offer, but work is mad busy that time of the year. Let me know how you get on, though 👍
I really miss my first ever bike… gillera DNA 125… 😢
Lambretta DL 200 2stroke is the best scooter of all times!
Hopefully you do a trackday on it
Biggest advantage for a two up rider is with the topbox she can still get on without serious gymnastics. I will not show my wife this video for obvious reasons! 🙃
Bennett’s way of saying they don’t want to insure this kind of bike then?
Two previous owners in one year? They must have been Bennetts insurance customers. 😊
Sorry to hear about the ongoing bike theft issues in the UK.
If the bike has such a degree of ignition security, what do the thieves do with it after nicking it without the fob or key?
They’ve probably got key cloning devices…or just hotwire the sh*t out of it!
Scary stuff…but the Mighty Mac saved the day!
Took my Abarth to Mr Minit to recode a key. I think that they do bikes too. Loads cheaper than a dealer.
The sym tl508 I'm pissed could of brought it for 3699 2500miles on clock from a shop would of replaced my burgman 400 like your honesty
