the station seemed very busy and energetic. The child pressed against the window was funny. The train was not as crowded as I would expect. Enjoyed the view on the long curve section of track.
Hi Thomas That kid at 0.37 was so funny he made me laugh :) Japanese train system always amazed me. I wish we have something like that in Thailand. The traffic here is so horrible. Thanks for the video. Nice work. Gail
Hi Gail, Thank you very much for your kind words. Ah yes, that kid... I couldnt resist including him, it's like he's thinking "Why is that strange foreigner filming the train? - I better pretend I don't see him if he looks this way..." - and then, he cant resist looking one more time anyway. ^^ Yeah, I remember the traffic, I've been in Bangkok a few times - I think you need more trains! ^_- Have a great evening.
I very much like the atmosphere of bustling stations (train stations, airports, bus terminals). Traveling and traveling crowds bring forth such dynamics and watching travelers can be very inspiring. A video like this doesn't just tell one story; It tells countless stories. Thanks for this very nice video, Thomas !
Thank you for your detailed feedback on this video Hendrik, I appreciate it - its interesting to know what other people are feeling, by watching what I have seen. (....if that made sense?)
Ah yeah, that was the first railway line I saw in Japan - just before landing at Haneda Airport ^^ (unfortunately I didn't manage to ride this line by myself) You did a great job again on showing the characteristics of this line - this busy underground terminus, the futuristic design of the E233 series and the interesting wide (maybe a little bit sparsely poplated?) scenery between Tokyo and Chiba. So, In fact, almost all of your videos bring back memories to me ;D Thank you very much for sharing and showing Thomas!
Thank you once again for watching Amin, glad you liked it. Yes, sparsely populated, but yet busy. If you noticed there are lots of commuters waiting on the platform at Shin Kiba station, as there are several big companies in the area. (the reason i chose to show this part of the line, is because i like the water on the left of the track, the bridges, and futuristic looking building on the right side in the horizon.) Perhaps some of the videos of places you have no relation to yet, will become memories too in the future. Have a nice weekend. ^_~

***** Hi my friend Thomas:) I thank you too, mate, for your nice comment and,of course, for your beautiful video.Happy weekend for you and sunny smile from Prague:) Slavo
Great video Thomas. I love the sound of the tracks undervthe train wheels. I play train simulator games and just wondered if you ever thought of shooting footage for them, with your access it would be great
Thanks very much for that Mark. Ah yes, I even had some of those games years back (Yamanote line simulator for PS2 and PSP) - that helped me memorize all the stations along the line, making it easier getting around here. As for your suggestion, that would be a great job to have, but I think they'd rather buy a flightticket and send a professional cameraman over here instead of me doing it for them. >_
Thank you very much Perdomot, and that is a funny thought. I can tell you this much, in Denmark there was an interview with the woman who recorded the announcements on the trains, with a honeycoated voice. But in fact she was a.... hmmm..."less than average" housewife - kinda sad they broke the illussion really.
Gosto muito da atmosfera de estações movimentadas (estações de trem, aeroportos e terminais de ônibus) viajando e multidões que viajam ao trazer essa dinâmica.!! Bjus.!!
Great way to tell a story. Hustle and bustle of the people. Signs, feet and legs boarding the train. Train departing, on the train and up the front. Great usage of your brain.....lol.
Well Thomas I was talking about Microsoft Train Simulator and Auran Trainz Sim which are both computer games. I wish they would make something train wise for ps 3. I don't know about anyone shooting better video than you for looking out the window of the cab, that was perfect. You are a much better videographer than you give yourself credit for
Hi Mark, Hmmmm...... this is probably the first time I dont really know how to reply.... so I'll just say thank you for your very kind comment, it motivates me doing my best, the next time too, and the next, and the next. Glad you liked it, more is on the way as we speak. Have a great weekend Mark.

Always nice to take a ride on a train in Japan. I wonder who the lady who does the English announcements is and what she looks like.
