Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
i'm making Christmas bed runners for my grandkids and needed to see if i can just use interfacing...couldn't find any suggestions until your channel ! Thank you. I'm not a beginner, but you explain slowly and clearly, which is helpful to the new sewer. I just relax and drink coffee while you explain what I know...and it struck me how helpful you are for the newbies, which I was at one time. Didn't have internet or UA-cam at the time, what a great learning tool! thanks again 😊
Glad the video was helpful. Merry Christmas. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Very pretty fabric 💐🎄

Great tutorial. Your Assistant is too cute.
Thank you 😀
great video so if I'm making 72" runner I need to 2 15" pieces and sew them together? I
this will be my first time sewing a runner but I need a longer one. please help
This was great ty!!! What kind of sewing table do you have? Do you have an insert? I have a large machine too. Does yours embroider also? Trying to find a table ty 💕🧵
Beautiful fabric but I think you need more than 1/4 yard from the looks of your table runner since 1/4 of a yard would be only 9 inches. Thanks for all your great videos.
1/4 yard by WOF (width of fabric)
I believe the 1/4 yard is for a small runner. She said she was making a 72" runner.
@@lyndacarter9814 The runner will be a narrow 9" wide runner if she uses 1/4 yard. Like Karin Hardwick said below, "Did you mean 1/2 instead of 1/4? "
@@lebydee1 On your video you measured 15" WOF. Isn't 15" the width of your table runner? Thanks for clarifying. Keep the videos coming.
My apologies, here is an updated list of supplies -

Most anxious for your Christmas tree skirt video.. Any idea when? Many thanks, Pat Wahl
Hi Pat. It will be out in about 2 to 3 weeks. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Question what type of iron on interfacing should be used?
Thanks Anna
What type of fusing interfacing do you use? Light, medium, or heavy weight. If Pellon brand which number? Also I noticed some of your table runners you use fusing interfacing and some you use cotton batting. How do you decide whether to use fusible interfacing or to use cotton batting? I am a new sewer. Thanks!
Hi! I have the same questions as hers. I’m also a newby. Thanks!
I was told Pellon 987F is good for table runners. I'm so confused about when it says use fusible fleece or fleece, or interfacing on a pattern. Why can't they say for example or something? Sometimes when I google it I get several answers or it talks about fleece material and I know that's not right. Someone could or should write a book 😂😂 oh wait. I forgot. This day and age someone should direct me to a tutorial 🙄🤣
Did you mean 1/2 instead of 1/4? LOVE your channel. Karin
Would half to be, as 1/4 yard is only 9 inches. I hope they go back and change that info. And it would make one 40-42 inches long...
Hi Karin. My apologies, here is an updated list of supplies -

Thank you very much for this wonderful tutorial, Where did you buy the machine table behind you.
Hi Netty. I purchased it from a sewing machine furniture website about 6 years ago. I don't remember which one. But go to any sewing machine furniture website and you can probably find one similar if not just like it. Thanks for watching. Stay safe, and happy sewing.
Hi with the table runner I’m not sure if the interfacing goes to the back of the main fabric or the lining as it mentions fusing it to the back of the fabric but then also later on mentions that the interfacing is attached to the back of the lining. Could you confirm which piece it should be ironed on to please. Thank you
Hi Alison. I usually fuse it to the back of the fabric that is on top. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
@@TheSewingRoomChannel Hi, that's great thank you and thank you for such in-depth step by step instruction and the pace you did it at which was so easy to follow and makes it such a pleasant experience to sew along with you without rushing to keep up. I have now subscribed and will be watching all your tutorials from now on. Alison xxx
Seems way more difficult tha. It actually is!
Thanks for watching. Happy New Year. 😍
Is that your husband at the end of the video? He is sooo cute!
Hi Shyash. Yes, that is Manny, and he is very helpful. Thanks for watching💗and Merry Christmas😍
Nice tutorial, but it would be much better if you said what pieces would be required
Hi @queenslanddiva. The list of supplies needed for the project are mentioned in the video description. Here they are, just in case you're unable to locate them. 😀

My table measures 89 inches long and 42 inches wide.
Hi Maria. You can make this table runner any length and width. Thanks for watching. 😍

Hi Ivone. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Hi,size pls
Hi Dinus. You can make the table runner any size you like. In the tutorial I explain how much fabric is needed for the length you want to make it. You can make it short or long. Measure the length of your table to determine how long you want your table runner. The sewing steps are the same for all lengths. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍
Quick and easy, but please change you measurements...1/4 yard is only 9 inches...you'd need 1/2 yard at least per your instructions.
