    15:30 Paradigm shifting words. Every bro bending backwards to curl a barbell needs to hear this.

    As someone who self coaches I needed this info. It creates a better understanding of what it really means to stimulate, recover and adapt without complex jargon seemingly meant to confuse the masses. It’s not about the exact set and reps, it’s about understanding the concept on how to turn the knobs(volume, intensity, and frequency) to progress as an individual. I love this content and am hoping you take us on a deep dive into the way you look at base building.

    That's actually a really helpful tip. I'm coming back from an injury now, and that helps frame how I approach these next few blocks.

    Rondel - great job! All your videos are well thought out, well paced and professionally done. We appreciate your "data collection" approach to programming PL training. Best of luck in your training & business. !

    Could you explain how do you deload? Do you deload between each block / phase?

    I am new into this and wonder "why" the squat is pretty much as strong as the deadlift by the (andvanded) powerlifter? While normally people are often 1.5 times stronger in deads in relation to squats?

    • @SebCarrillo18
      @SebCarrillo18 7 місяців тому +3

      Depends on leverages. Rondel is someone who is pretty balanced with his deadlift and squat. But if you take two extremes like Cailer Woolam and Ray Williams, Cailer is literally built for the deadlift and Ray is built for squats. And the whole thing with most people have a deadlift 1.5x or even more stronger than their deadlift is just because they focus on it more.

      Definitely depends on what they train more. I’m not built for either but have a close squat and deadlift bc I train squats more bc I recover faster from them

    What is the frequency on the squat, bench and dead. As you can’t be doing the lifts once a week?

    You still got stronger relativ to your starting point in the first block.
