Love that blender set
Love your vlogs! ❤️🌻
Hey Natalie, been catching up on your videos!
Love that y’all have settled in and you seem so happy ! . Miss you at Grand -Tara 💕
I buy as much as I can from my neighborhood supermarkets because I believe New Yorkers should support New York businesses as much as possible. I've been here my whole life and have watched so many mom and pop places disappear and I want to use my money to support the survival of small businesses.
I have a similar brand of blender, chopper gadget and I love it. I had a separate chopper first before I found the blender//chopper. It is wonderful to use it daily for smoothies, etc. and takes up less space on my counter. Mine is not wireless but that's OK. Thanks for sharing this.
Hey Natalie! We also buy meat in bulk like chicken and ground beef and I super highly recommend a vacuum sealer! I know it’s one more appliance to store but it keeps things so much more fresh than ziplocks! We bought ours from Sam’s club and use the big rolls of “bags” you can even put cooked foods in them to freeze and thaw later!
I live in nyc and the farmers market on 14th street and union square usually on mondays and saturdays are good. And we Shop aldis on 117th street and pleasant Ave there is also a Costco and a target in the same shopping center. And at times we travel into New Jersey to go to a Walmart from time to time. But we mostly shop at the Aldi, Target and Cotsco.
I would LOVE it if you would explore the neighborhood (or borough) stores
Like the grocery stores??
I have a brother who is livin in Manhattan
He just shops in farmers market for fresh fruits and vegetables and he freezes them himself
You can also try fresho I think
That's a great idea!
Omg ikr when I first moved from Texas 2 Manhattan in early 2000's I was shocked at grocery prices🤯🤯🤦🏼♀️🤣but.. omg yes try going to Chelsea Market (if not yet) they have fruit fresh Market there and meat fresh market..it's building full of foods lol baked goods..seafood..fresh flowers bunch stuff...also, local Bodega in around Harlem BK etc has sometime great specials just each varies!! Yep, I go thru Fresh Amazon 2 teehee so easy!!!
Lol!!! On a week to week basis the convenience wins out! I love Chelsea Market!
Things are cheaper if you make the commute to a big grocery store like Walmart, trader Joe's or target
look for CSA's in NY and farmers markets
CSA's?
I shop at the street fruit/veggie stands and Trader Joe's, have you been to one yet? I find their prices to lower than NYC supermarkets...
Great tip! I haven't been to one here in NYC. I haven't seen one close by us.
