I love how the kids in this family are so independent yet so helpful with each other. Nice to see Chloe doing so well. She's a "can-do" girl who can take charge, but she is so tender with her siblings. A beautiful family.
All of a sudden, it seems that Mo is speaking so well! It’s so fun to see the kiddos grow right before our eyes! Great job Amber and Marc, God bless you big time!
Moe’s speech and sentences are fantastic, he does have a few roll models 😊. Melody 🎶 standing there with the food so cute , she cracks me up . She beats to her own drum or violin 🎻. Love ❤️ it Diane from Rhode Island ❤😊
Neta is so adorable. Marc is such a good shopper. It's so cute that he never forgets his kiss. Praying Anna gets into school of the arts also. God bless you all from NC 🙏💙🙏
Amber, it would be wise to get a large metal rack to put downstairs for your stock up groceries. Also getting a freezer and large fridge for downstairs will really save you some money, you can then buy cases of the canned and dry goods you use most often. I don't have a large family but I've always shopped this way and it really helped a lot during the covid outbreak as the store were pretty empty, I had family members shopping my pantry. It may be lot of cost to start but each time you shop if you need 2 of something buy double and stock the pantry. You'll be very happy you did. Sending love ❤️
I was thinking the same thing. Even if you started with a metal bakers rack. Then add a frig freezer. You’d have extra space for both. I’d never get a chest freezer though. Things get lost in there. An upright freezer is worth the cost in my opinion. I also buy things like flour, beans, rice and oats in bulk. I freeze them for about five days to kill any bugs and then I put them in 5 gallon buckets with gamma lids.
@allymichael1609 me too do have an upright freezer in the house and 2 refrigerators and a huge chest freezer in the garage, I put same like things in hard bottom bags , ie chop meat, chicken, pork in their own bags so when I want something I just pull the bag and I can also keep inventory that way. I buy 50lbs of beef, chicken pork at a time each month a different meat or frozen vegetables. Same with dry goods and condiments, today I bought 12 different bbq sauces, and mayonnaise 6 of them. It really stocks up quickly.
@mrs.p6128 it's a process, I did not suggest it had to be done, NO ONE had that money to start! I certainly did not try to ASSUME that they would do this next week, if you really read the comment I said it would be wise to start this process, with 11 childten food goes quickly, it's WISE to have a stock now that they have more room. I also SUGGESTED to buy 1 now and 2 for later. That's how I started my stocked pantry. But that's for ASSUMING I'm an idiot!
A 2-week grocery haul is only possible because you are so well organized! We are also praying for Anna- that all details go smoothly, that she is able to sleep well, that she takes it in stride and enjoys it too. Very exciting times!!
Loving Neta’s cute summer dress! I think it’s great that they are teaching the kids how to actually shop in a grocery store. Chloe is learning so much from Marc.
Oh how refreshing ! finally another large family (on UA-cam) that cares about healthy food. I would be curious how much more you guys spend in comparison. I bet it’s not that big of a difference.
Teens and young adults eat a lot. They are not only still growing, but so active they burn it all up. None of yours have even an extra ounce of weight on them. The treats the children picked tonight were yummy. Scones, the Brownies, Popcycles, Boardwalk Taffy, and gummies. Very grown up Choices. I love getting to be a part by watching. Thank you for sharing.😊
Another great shopping 🛒🛒 video. Nice to see Marc in his new birthday clothes. Great job Chole helping at Costco. Good job Anna helping at Trader Joe's. Everyone is growing up so fast.
Hi all... great grocery haul yes you could use another big freezer and refrigerator. I love your beautiful family your kids are so well behaved and sweet to each other and so helpful too 💕 have a great weekend 😊 😀
Wonderful you can afford all organic food, I have to say Mark might be polite to respect those of us who can not afford . Referring to ingredients as junk when people doing their best.
Yes he did he is awesome if Mark can do the shopping and video why can't amber ever do that to give Mark a lil rest some times. The only time amber ever shops and video at same time is when she does birthday shopping the easy and fun stuff
You can refresh limo lettuce by putting into ice water. Especially romaine. Cut end off… submerge in ice water and let sit. I take out , once it’s rehydrated and let drain on a dish towel/ tea towel. I store celery in (wrap it in) aluminum foil. It does help. If it goes limp, do same thing- put in ice water and let drain/dry once it’s absorbed water and refreshed.
Im behind on videos. Do you plan to put a full size fridge/freezer downstairs? I was curious what you did with that area. I remmber saying you rented it… I think it would be great to get shelves and have canned goods and stick up in diapers wipes tp etc etc
My mother was first introduced to peanut butter and dill pickle sandwiches in the late 50's and we ate them for snacks growing up!! Love them still🥒🍞❤ Thank you Marc for reading the ingredients on some items, I appreciate knowing what's in our food!! 😊 Blessings 🙏
Aww mo bless him hes growing up so so cute , this my hotdog he says , netta is such a bonny baby , i love when they go through cubby stage , its a lot of food , good that children help but can confuse, but still good of them , hope in week goes ok for you , love to you all ,😘👍xxxx
There is a really great vlog on UA-cam with a lot of legume friendly and Mediterranean meals called Spain on a Fork. You may find some healthy family friendly recipes on his site to add to your repertoire. I havent found a bad meal on the site yet. 😊
I have six kids my budget has always been 550 a month right now got four at home all teachers two adult children and it’s still that much a month we learned two boneless chicken breast i can feed all my kids I learned to cut them very thin ten pounds hamburger lasted us almost three months I also look for discount food and buy that way
I got a good one 25 years ago from Williams sonoma, still going… I use to make pizza dough, dough for cinnamon buns, all kinds of breads, various doughs thst it took out and then turned into finished products . So much cheaper! Makes the house smell so good! You can even take dough out and bake in oven, but more economical On the setting of the bread maker than using propane gas to use oven.
Hi Amber! Two week’s worth of shopping!??? Oh my!😮😮😮 Amber sometimes you gotta splurge ! You’re small enough you can do it every now and then.😮😊 it’s a good thing you have two refrigerators, which means two freezers. Actually, I think y’all have more than two refrigerators. I think I saw an extra refrigerator up against the wall going to your dining room table one time but I could be wrong?
Have you ever turned Netta around the other way so she can see what’s going on instead of her having to constantly turn her head to the left or right? I believe she’s big enough now.🥰
Great video! Have you tried making salsa instead of having to purchase so many small jars at Trader Joe’s? I have made it by the gallon for parties at work before retiring.
Yes! We’ve made it before. I just find it spoils if we don’t use it within a couple days and usually our burrito days are spaced out. So I have to make it fresh each time. It’s so yummy though! Just takes more time.
My daughter goes to Costco once every 3 months,( hates to shop, lol) but buys milk, bread and produce as needed throughout the month. For myself,( just me and the dog), it makes more sence to buy 3 days worth of fresh fruit and produce.
Hi caravan family Hi Amber you!! guys are the Best!! You remind me of that movie the school of Rock!! Jack Black!!lLove you guys my Prayers are with you God Bless you and your family 🙏 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
In America, we have to read a lot of fine print…. You can kinda tell- but it’s never obvious right off the bat. Lots of fine print. Lots of imported from via this place or that place.
Yes! I want to try going again! It wasn’t well stocked last time we went, so hopefully it’s better next time! There is a lot of shoplifting in the area so the store is careful.
Unstocked shelves are the worst, so I can understand that. Makes sense why you stick to costco and Trader joes. I do love both of them. Thanks for sharing.
I thought oh no where's the kiss , if you go again tomorrow amber you owe mark a real big big kiss bless you both , i could read it on marks face as you started walking , xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx😘🥰
I cant have dairy so im unsure but maybe you could've gotten the cream cheaper at Costco? Its so hard to feed families right now . Family of 6 an its expensive to eat 😢.

Have you ever thought of buying a bread maker or using one? Bread works out to be around $.50 a loaf or less

Hi Amber, love your videos. Question, do you fill all of the sodas that go with the hotdogs (for the big kids) and if so how do you carry them home??
I was also curious about this- from a transport aspect.
They buy soda from the store

Peanut Butter and dill pickle sandwiches are amazing! You should try it, you won't be disappointed 😁
Love seeing them at JT with their snacks! 😊
Australian here, our bread lasts one day to eat fresh and maybe one or two days for toast. I wonder what is in your bread to last so long.

You can freeze cream, or use in coffee. Dilute with water for baking / soups/other recipes. It is cheaper in large containers.
You should buy a small freezer.
