I spent my teen years pining for a blacklight because I thought they were wicked cool. I finally got a bulb from Spencer's and came to the sad realization that the black shirts I wore almost exclusively were covered in lint all the time.

My kids’ elementary school put on a little dance for the kids with black lights and glow sticks. It looked like someone said “rave setting but with kids - go!” 😂 Those kids had a blast, running around, dancing with abandon, parents backed up against the walls to keep from getting trampled. Wild and wonderful!

Congrats! When I think of black lights, it takes me back to the 80’s music videos. With the glow in the dark lipsticks, sneakers, hair bows, belts, socks and jewelry. Fun times 😊

I'm 66 yeras old, and I remember my dad bought us a black light and some posters for our bedroom wall. Well after awhile, all we wanted to do was just wear our white t-shirts and dance and make faces at each other. Found out our teeth also glowed under the black light. Thanks for bringing back such great times 🤟
I am 62 ,and I too can remember all the fun we had with black lights; stobe lights and disco balls. These were all staples at the discos and skating rinks. 😂🤣
Congrats on 4,000 subscribers. When I was a teen, my church youth group used to do performances with tambourines under a Black Light. Thanks for bringing back that memory - good times.

Congrats on hitting4K. The prompt made me laugh. Way back when in my 20's when I used to go clubbing, there was a club that was just blacklight. My friend had smiled and her teeth glowing because they were so white. I laughed, coughed, and snorted my cocktail. So glad there wasn't internet yet. The Polaroids. Good times.

I grew up in a small town that had one head shop that sold black light posters. Everybody had to have a few in their bedroom. Congratulations on the subscribers and enjoy the new hobby.

Dude! That sweater is EVERYTHING. The color is great on you and of course the design, well, you know - it's awesome. Every time you hold it up, I see something different in that sort of tribal design. The fabric in that shawl is amazing. I want to curl up in it. Congratulations on 4K - well deserved. We used a black light to really super clean the kitchen during the pandemic.

OMG! Congratulations to YOU!! I have loved you from day one and I look forward to many more years of awesomeness to come!! You have provided kindness and inspiration, and I can't wait to meet you IRL!! Funny story about Black Lights - a boyfriend (I didn't marry him!) gave me a ring - not really an engagement ring but more than a friendship ring - long story. Anyway, a few weeks later we went to a museum with a Gem exhibit. They asked for volunteers to show the qualities of real diamonds...needless to say I was very shocked and my boyfriend was very apologetic for telling me my stone was a diamond. While all diamonds don't show up the same under Black Lights - they ALL scratch glass...let's just say my "stone" did nothing! LOL. I'm so happy to have you as a yarn buddy!!! Hugs from Texas!!! ❤❤❤

Glad to hear you purchased a use sewing machine. Some easier first time projects, would be project bags, tote bags, pillows, pillow cases and chef aprons. These type of projects will give you a sense of how the machine handles, sewing straight and curved sections, working with different thicknesses of fabric, sewing in zippers and making buttonholes. Have fun!!!
Congratulations on 4000 subscribers! You may have been trying g to say that you are celebrating each milestone. 😊 My girls used to love wearing neon that would light up with a black light. The bowling alley was always a great place to show off your blacklight reactive fashions. 😂

When I was in middle school, I was obsessed with two velvet flocked Blacklight posters I had of Led Zeppelin and maybe Twisted Sister? So naturally, UV reactive yarn is the adult equivalent.
Not sure if it's one word or two so here goes: I haven't been to a place with a blacklight / black light for aaaages! Congrats again on 4k subs, you deserve it! Another fab episode, thanks for being here to chill me out 😊
