I've only watched the first half of the video before making this comment. I've not played the game in over a year now but this doesn't seem like the Dome Keeper I knew. Why aren't you having to fight off any waves? Why are you able to move around 500 resources at a time with no difficulty? I'm not familiar with this new character, if he can simply do that then that seems super broken.
So to answer your questions :) - This is Miner Mode, one of prestige variants which focuses on most efficient mining only. So there are no monsters and you have 20 waves to get the best score you can. - Yes, Assessor do not have limit on moving resources. It is stronger than Engineer, but that is by design, since it is also way, way harder to learn and then use (took me around 100-150h to get to this level). You basically need to constantly think when to shot spheres and when and where to use special ability - splitting spheres in this case (there are 2 others abilities).
@@Cade_exe Not really guides, but you can watch how Cecily plays Assessor (there is Cecilly yt channel), or look up slipperydome (Slip) yt channel. He played with commenting and explaining why he does things. There is also mr. man and girzz who are really good with Assessor. My biggest advice is: be super patient. It took me over 100h to get this good with Assessor, and it is not only planning spheres positioning, but also upgrades order, overall mining strategy, etc.
@@zimny11 I'm back with two questions: 1: What's a quick & dirty strat for the Assessor, like what's the first few upgrades to prioritise and which to pick of the three upgrade paths for the spheres? 2: Is there a reputable tier list or something for which gadgets, supplements and upgrades are great and which should be given a miss, or anything like that?
First you need to unlock Prestige mode in general. Just play Relic Hunt (or Guild Assignments) until you get that as an option to unlock. Then you will get first variant of Prestige called Countdown. Win it (survive 20 waves) and you will unlock new Prestige variant, it will be random, so you might do it more than once to get Miner Mode. If you want also have Custom Setting for gadgets/caves/supplements order in the run for Prestige, to unlock it, you need to get 1000 points in Endless, Countdown or Miner Mode (I think Provocation does not work).
THE DOME KEEPER GOAT

Was... current version change the balanced by accident. So currently Engineer is better. Helpfully next patch will fix that.
