Wow. I cooked this today. I followed all.ypur steps. Best brown stewed sliced fish I have ever made. The soy sauce, the vinegar, the garlic oh my. I did burn a lil sugar.

Bwoi Miss Debbie if I do me, mi starve. So mi a follow your instructions. I don't eat meat but I use all your techniques for my vegan dishes (veggie balls, tofu and mushrooms and so forth) and my dishes have been so tasty. Thanks a lot Miss Debbie for your easy to follow instructions.
