I watch Deddy’s kitchen religiously! I love the family dynamics between the father and his children & his wife. I’m from Haïti, that fish looks like how we make it minus the okra. Since I love okra I’m going to start adding it to my fish too.

It's always a pleasure and a treat to see Deddy kooking pon di kitchen. Sasha I love how you compliment Deddy as the show commentator. I love how you speak English and patrois. I notice that Deddy doesn't cook with pimento berries (seeds). I love pimento berries. I want to buy Flavorice but I cannot find it here in the states (including Amazon). The dish looks delicious and very appetizing. However, I do not like ketchup fish (as mi and my sistren call it). When I cook brown stew fish, I add vinegar and browning. Deddy please keep the videos coming and keep entertaining us to the utmost. Manners and respect!

Dedddddddy! I thank God for you! Mon I made this brown stewed fish today. I had to adjust my seasonings because I didn't have all of deddy's favorites like the flavo rice but I made due. I found it on Amazon. This dish is fire! And now Sunday's dinner will be your fish soup. I shopped today for all the root vegetables I could find close enough to Deddy's. I can't wait to it.
