The device relies on there being no gap in-between the walls as it carries the vibration to the device and converts it to sound. You often find there is a gap between a downstairs ceiling and the upstairs floor and so it probably won't work for you
This is the ONLY thing you can think of? THIS isn't even a proven concept. I mean, ironically the audio on here is difficult to understand at parts and as for what was picked up through the wall. Well that part was completely left out. How do you suppose you, in theory, recording your neighbor would stop said person? I doubt they care if they're being recorded.
In fairness I switched on the subtitles and at the start it thinks I'm saying "I can sparkle UK" when I'm actual fact I said "welcome to spy equipment UK". The rest of it seems to be picked up ok though

Yes there are two ports on the device, one to connect a pair of headphones and one to connect a recorder. The device itself does not record.
