    Your markings for Angus Dei at 15:30 are wrong. He hit s the B1 once in that recording, as it is a descending scale.

    Hey
    Does anyone know how to expand lower chest voice? I mean is it possible by some training?

    • @hypercubemaster2729

      @@lol-or5sf That's not true. It takes months to years of training, but you can certainly achieve lower notes by constant practice and even slight forcing. At 27 I couldn't carry an Eb2 or hit a C2, and now after years of training, at 35 I can carry C2 and sometimes hit Ab1-G1.

    • @hypercubemaster2729
      @hypercubemaster2729 3 роки тому

      @@lol-or5sf I'm telling you that's not true. You have to do it slowly. I had a keyboard that could bend pitch down by 1/100 of a half step, so I worked on deepening my lowest note by a quarter of a step at a time, and my voice eventually made its way down to the next half step. Then I would continually practice singing a song with that one pitch alone each time I gained a new quarter step. This ensured that my voice adapted to the new pitch. In doing that many times, I am now much lower than before. Age can be a factor for sure, but mine hasn't changed like that yet.

      @@lol-or5sf You don't even know what we are arguing about, apparently. I'm not arguing that age isn't a factor. I'm saying that for me, I haven't yet experienced the vocal shift that comes with age.
      What's your experience, because I have 17 years of bass singing, a couple years of voice lessons, and was bass lead in choir for 12 years. I'll trust my lessons and experience over your word, thanks.

    • @hypercubemaster2729

      @@lol-or5sf That's not being passive aggressive. It's called calling somebody else out who claims to know more than you on a subject that you've researched and practiced for years, and clearly you must not. If you did, you would have had something else to say other than call me a prick; however, in actuality, you made yourself an even bigger one for how you just carried yourself in the last reply. Nice try with your psychological projection, but it didn't work.

      @@lol-or5sf actually injuring your voice can cause it to get lower JD Sumner damaged his by drinking and smoking and that got him a Bb0 in chest but of course that's not a worthwhile way to get your voice lower age is the better way but even then it doesn't lower that much more with just age.
