Mine is over 10 years of age and still an ongoing adventure. At age 57 I have never ever felt better even as a competitive fighter at the age 25.
It took about 3 months after I started carnivore for the tinnitus to subside by 80-90%, but reflux and all other symptoms mentioned in the video went away. 13 months carnivore now and tinnitus still there a little on & off, but MUCH better than a year ago. I noticed it comes back when I get stressed out a lot. Stress has a lot to do with your body's health.
Before I first started keto 6 years ago, I was a slave to Omeprazole. I had had an endoscopy and was really bad. When I started keto I continued with Omeprazole for a while, until I saw a video from Dr Berry who said " there is a reason our stomach is so acid, it's to digest meat and fat." I stopped the Omeprazole and, apart from the odd lapse, have never had a problem since. It was the first of many prescription drugs I stopped!
I was diagnosed with menieres disease and was strict carnivore 3 years and after that protein sparing keto. Nothing seemed to help until I let the melanin sheet in my cochlea regenerate by taking the AirPods out of my ears and stop radiating my brain. Also getting morning sunrises and developing a good solar callus and now 6 months later completely symptom free. No more vertigo and my hearing is restored. We hear with light!! Sunlight that is.
This could just be a coincidence. I had something similar to Meniere's, lost my low frequency hearing in one ear, sound was all messed up really bad in the beginning, was told this could not get better. It took 2 to 3 years to finally clear up completely and I didn't do anything special. My point, you really don't know what helped it here, it was probably that it would have gotten better no matter what you did.
The inflammation in my neck was giving mennieres symptoms, after getting MRI scans found it was bone spurs on my neck. Grains and dairy were the first foods I cut out and what a difference that made, wow. Then I went ketovore, now carnivore for almost four years.😊

This is very interesting. After a root canal a few years ago I continued to suffer from vertigo. Remove the root canal. I’ve been chronically sick for almost 3 years because of a root canal and 16 mercury fillings. See a biological dentist and get a 3D scan and safely remove it. @@le_boucher, I'm blessed that I haven't experienced headaches with keto. I've done keto/ketovore to erase the looming threat of type 2 diabetes. It's worked miraculously. My A1C dropped like a rock and so did my weight.
@@JAD1DAD im glad to read that, mate. Diabetes is a huge problem, so it's good to read you were able to put an end to it. I suffered headaches for 3 years right now. So, I dont know, after trying many things I'm beginning to think that maybe the best to do it's just to learn to live with these things 🤷♂️
Have you explored pepsin as the silent reflux agent causing thick mucus in the morning? I’ve tried alginates like gaviscon. Not aware of anything that specifically helps the pepsin aerosolizing into the sinuses.
Ive had extreme tinnitus the last 5 y.. It started after I went under the cold ice water in our wellness center, and normally I would never go head under but I did this one time, and got water in my ears and few days later, my tinnitus went from 3 out of 10 to 10 out of 10 ....
Holy crap, thank you Dr. you are the first one to clue me into what I did have but don’t as badly anymore thanks to going carnivore but my other half has major issues with a lot of the LPR issues and maybe this is what I need to wake his stubborn ass up and do something about it now. ❤

Starchy foods, especially bagels would give my horrible heartburn. Went carnivore and have not had it since, but I still have ringing in my ears. Seems worse if I have a lot of salt.
Quitting carbs, all carbs, resolved all of my acid reflux, sinus and allergy issues. The tinnitus is the result of traumatic injury though, and after 38 years of living with it, I don't expect it to get any better...

My husband has had tinnitus for years. He does follow a low carb gluten free diet. And has done so for many many years. And he has the throat clearing and reactive airway disease. What else could trigger this? This is very interesting. It would be awesome to cure his tinnitus and esophageal problrms. He also gets esophageal spasms.
High fat is known to be neuro and spasm repairing. Wet fasting for 36-72 hours at a time is known to induce autophagy which helps with body toxin and waste material removal, and cell repair and renewal. He may benefit from 80% fat, 20% protein, 0% carb diet. Eating only for 4-6 hours per day. And every 2-4 weeks working up to a 72 hour wet fast, ensuring he knows the proper way to re-eat after the fast.
Have been strict carnivore since February. No real improvements to my tinnitus or sinus issues. Hoping I'm just being impatient. At 68, it's questionable whether I'll heal as well as the younger folks. I've certainly not lost any weight.
Prior to carnivore i had a persistent dry and unproductive cough for at least 2 years and always felt like i was having trouble getting air into the lungs. 5 months in and no cough and no struggling for a deep cleansing breathe. Still dealing with tinnitus
I don't know about that , because I was on Keto for 7 years and I never gotten rid of my Tinnitus . Now I'm on Carnivore diet and to see what help it could do for me .
@debbiec6216 Did you do 80% fat minimum and achieve an hba1c of 5.2 or lower and fasting insulin of 4 or lower? You have to do the kind of keto that puts you into therapeutic levels of ketosis to get the healing. Dirty keto or lazy keto won't allow a person to achieve those numbers. They will still have inflammation and slower healing. It's also highly individualized on your metabolic health and how long you've been unhealthy.
I'm so grateful to have found this video. I've been carrying this tinnitus for several years now, probably almost a decade, but I also do have every single symptom you described in your video. Should I get that Meloxicam in order to see if tinnitus gets better ?
I have all the symptoms of LPR but I had a weird thing happen to me a few days ago. I was just standing there and I felt like I dropped down 3 or more floors all of the sudden. Weird. I read that it has something to do with the crystals in your ear...type of vertigo.
I have over 20 families and friends who all have Acid Reflux and some of them are so lost and they are clueless, what to do to heal acid reflux . And many of them are taking PPI. Those on PPI , I will not tell them anything. I am not a doctor but I sure do my research for the last 4 1/2 years. The concern I always think about , the video you show where there was a blue shade and red stripe in the xray . I want to avoid Barrett's and esophageal Cancer . Is there any such thing to avoid it ????
MUSHROOMS - I worked out that mushrooms were causing issues and I would sneeze during the day and have a running nose at nighttime, and was affecting my sleep because nose would continue to run and keep me awake.
Ringing in the ears comes back too when I eat carbs, as well as the stuffy nose, and some phlegm in the back of my throat. It takes 2-3 days to clear up after having some carbs (once) and going back to full carnivore. Also some back pain starts creeping up if I have carbs, and I am not talking a lot of carbs either. Just a very small piece of cake or 1 pancake will trigger all the symptoms, plus upset stomach and bloating.
Been carnivore over a year. No grains or processed food, only a few blueberries. Sinuse drainage has been a part of my life always. Ringing in ears comes and goes. Im eating a small amt of protein and(trying) high fat. Just gave up butter(acid reflux) which was my main source of fat. Cant eat but a small amt of fat at this point as i feel it sitting in my stomach(and acid reflux) all night. I eat full fat yogurt with coconut cream in evening to fill up and get me thru the night. I know dairy causes the drainage but am having such a hard time eating enough.
Nope, keto didn’t fix my lpr. Still have to take pantoprazole and most days it doesn’t work. I have had pulsatile tinnitus for 4 yrs now and some days ringing. I still do keto for other benefits but it didn’t cure my GERD.
Lower carbs even more.....carnivore will absolutely heal. Keto can still mean too many carbs. I eat occasional green veggies but portions never over 10g carbs
Try bicarb soda. It got me off those meds after 20 yrs on them. Every morning I mix 1/2 glass of water with a dash of apple cider vinegar and a squirt of lemon juice, then drop in 1/2 teaspoon of bicarb soda - drink quick as it will fizz. I almost never get heartburn/gerd these days.
Been carnivore for a year and it did help my sinus inflammation but not nearly as much as I'd hoped but my friend asked me last week if i cleaned my water bottle and i admitted i kept forgetting. And right enough it was full of black mold. Threw it out, got a new one. I'm hoping this does the trick cuz I'm sick of not smelling and tasting.
I have had tinnitus for several years. 6 years of no sugar no grain and a few carnivore stints have not changed that. I also have a headache almost every morning. Could the headache be related?
Well I have been keto for 5 yrs and the tinnitus and headaches started last year. Come to find out, it’s menopause and the drop in hormones that caused mine, nothing food can change. I just started hrt. I would suggest people get their hormones checked if they’re eating right and still having issues.
@@annipeg the headaches have ceased. It’s only been 6 weeks so far of using hrt, but I had constant daily headaches for the past year, sometimes turning in to migraines. The tinnitus seems to be getting quieter, although not completely gone, but it’s manageable to sleep again. Really hoping it goes away completely with time. They told me at least 3 months to see any benefits from hrt, but so far, the bone/joint pain is 80% better, headaches gone, and I have energy! Nothing keto has been able to touch since menopause.
I just found out I have LPR but it is way difficult to just eat carnivore. I can do low carb or keto tho. What about eating low fruit and veggie and higher protein?
It’s okay to experiment. Stay away from high oxylate foods like almonds and spinach. Read the book toxic superfoods if you want to know what oxylates are and why they’re bad for your health.
Went keto/carnivore... ate a dessert, BOOM! Heartburn... My gal is a carbo addict. Desserts irresistibly show up. I partake... instant heartburn. If I follow a dessert with some meat... heartburn is gone.
my husband has had a change in his voice . He is keto carnivore 3 mo plus 10 days. The tone is almost muffled. Also, some lightheadedness. He fasts from around 8pm till 2pm. at times felt hungry. what could this be? can you help us?
I've been low carb for five years, used to have acid reflux, not since low carb. Do have sinus issues that initially got better, and tinnitus is worse. I went carnivore for three months. Didn't notice any improvement over keto. I decided I like my gut flora. For my sinuses, I did find something that helps: an herbal supplement with oregano oil, garlic extract, olive leaf, and black seed oil. I tried it after seeing an April 21, 2024 Dr Berg video with a similar remedy. My sinuses are still dry, but not inflamed (I live in Colorado, so that's kinda normal.)
Keep eliminating things until you find the culprit. Also you can mix a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in water and chug it down before meals. Usually you need more acid. Not less. Be sure you’re not taking your antacids anymore. They cause the problem. Your body needs time to heal and adjust. I had to use apple cider vinegar for about 3-6 months and then stopped and the reflux never came back. Now less than 10 carbs. Carnivore with cheese and cream and stevia in my coffee. Mostly beef and eggs. Simple and easy.
I eat keto and carnivore. I stay under 20 carbs a day, and I eat once a day, finishing my meal four hours before I go to bed. I always have noise in my left ear, but when I have "keto friendly bread"-- two carbohydrates for two pieces in a sandwich-- and I realize that "keto friendly" is not keto because it is made with white flour-- and even IF I had the meal at noon instead of dinnertime, the next morning I wake up with a very loud shrieking in my left ear. The only thing that I could say to myself, once again, is that "white flour is not my friend."

Would br much more interesting if people were transparent like you and I here. Keto/carnivore is not the cure for everything (as many people seem to claim or imply these days), unfortunately.
Usually if I dont sleep weel, instant headache in the morning. Sometimes I can feel I slept perfectly but anyways, headache in the morning. So, I dont know, after trying many things I'm beginning to think that maybe the best to do it's just to learn to live with these things 🤷♂️
@le_boucher similar story as mine, go to an upper cervical chiro - atlas orthogonal preferably or Blair. It was the key for me

Was diagnosed with menieres in 1996. Have had surgery and injections for it. Lost most of my hearing and wear hearing aids.
I've been off and on carnivore for couple years. Now 3 months
Would like to learn more.
My wife has sinus issues and does a rinse 2-3 times per day. Still not going away. This makes sense dr. Thank you
Starchy foods, especially bagels would give my horrible heartburn. Went carnivore and have not had it since, but I still have ringing in my ears. Seems worse if I have a lot of salt.
Does brown rice count as grain? Also, would love to hear your opinion on Glutamine and small intestine health...
Quitting carbs, all carbs, resolved all of my acid reflux, sinus and allergy issues.
The tinnitus is the result of traumatic injury though, and after 38 years of living with it, I don't expect it to get any better...
Theres always a solution. Life itself is a problem solving machine

@@jack.w.p.reynolds @odrowsybox5175 I have, internal scars, missing tissue, and a few pieces of shotgun bird shot still in there, the tinnitus isn't going anywhere.
@@jack.w.p.reynoldsJack, are you far enough along to give a quick review? 3.0 is the newest program, I believe. I’ve followed Liam’s free advice with some success and am considering the program, but there are a few things I’m doing inspired by him that take time and money already. I’ve had good success so far, so I’m keeping on, but I wonder what I’m missing in the paid course.
I haven’t had a carb in over four years but my sinuses remain quite overstuffed. Sigh…
My stomach was up in my chest. I had surgery, Toupet Fundiplication and I feel great. Still have a bit of tinnitus

Oh to have an ENT like you! I doubt mine has even heard of this. Is it worth my while to ask.? I have been suffering with severe tinnitus since 2019.
Prior to carnivore i had a persistent dry and unproductive cough for at least 2 years and always felt like i was having trouble getting air into the lungs. 5 months in and no cough and no struggling for a deep cleansing breathe. Still dealing with tinnitus
Interesting. I started having stomach issues after starting Meloxicam. I thought it was the medication causing it.
It can cause gastritis
We have several people in our support group that have gotten rid of tinnitus with a keto diet of 85% fat and 15% protein.
How is the carnivore diet working for you ?
Great video Doc Thanks for Sharing
Thank you
Thanks Doc!
What dose of Meloxicam and for how long to see any results with tinnitus? Thanks
I am the opposite of this this I went LCHF a few weeks ago and that’s when my nose started running like a faucet😮
I'm so grateful to have found this video. I've been carrying this tinnitus for several years now, probably almost a decade, but I also do have every single symptom you described in your video. Should I get that Meloxicam in order to see if tinnitus gets better ?
Doesn't seem like the meloxicam is kicking in 😂😂
Does eating trace carbs less than 5to10 grams per day hinder Ketosis ?
Could these symptoms be a acoustic neuroma?
I haven't had a carb but a few nutts , just eggs , bacon and beef .
I've been carnivore for 15 weeks. I noticed my intermittent tinnitus pretty much went away after about 3 weeks.
I have asthma and sinus but I don't use anything but b 12 I injection helps and antihistamine.
I have all the symptoms of LPR but I had a weird thing happen to me a few days ago. I was just standing there and I felt like I dropped down 3 or more floors all of the sudden. Weird. I read that it has something to do with the crystals in your ear...type of vertigo.
I have over 20 families and friends who all have Acid Reflux and some of them are so lost and they are clueless,
what to do to heal acid reflux . And many of them are taking PPI. Those on PPI , I will not tell them anything.
I am not a doctor but I sure do my research for the last 4 1/2 years. The concern I always think about , the
video you show where there was a blue shade and red stripe in the xray . I want to avoid Barrett's and esophageal Cancer . Is there any such thing to avoid it ????
The first thing I notice on carnivore diet is that on the 4th day my was tinnitus was gone.
MUSHROOMS - I worked out that mushrooms were causing issues and I would sneeze during the day and have a running nose at nighttime, and was affecting my sleep because nose would continue to run and keep me awake.
People eat nasty stuff man.
@@BeefNEggs057 Ha ha!
after being carnivore for several years, I quickly realized my acid reflux came back when I ate any carbs.
Carnivore just masks symptoms
Ringing in the ears comes back too when I eat carbs, as well as the stuffy nose, and some phlegm in the back of my throat. It takes 2-3 days to clear up after having some carbs (once) and going back to full carnivore. Also some back pain starts creeping up if I have carbs, and I am not talking a lot of carbs either. Just a very small piece of cake or 1 pancake will trigger all the symptoms, plus upset stomach and bloating.
Well , there you Go
@@vtecharrys.6981I seriously noticed a Phlegm difference. I'm just hitting 8 months into Carnivore.
Do you take Medicare
Been carnivore over a year. No grains or processed food, only a few blueberries. Sinuse drainage has been a part of my life always. Ringing in ears comes and goes. Im eating a small amt of protein and(trying) high fat. Just gave up butter(acid reflux) which was my main source of fat. Cant eat but a small amt of fat at this point as i feel it sitting in my stomach(and acid reflux) all night. I eat full fat yogurt with coconut cream in evening to fill up and get me thru the night. I know dairy causes the drainage but am having such a hard time eating enough.
Vitamin D fixed my sinuses. I did high doses until my level was 80. I haven't stopped carbs.
Think about quitting
@47retta .. what doses are u regularly taking ? Is it vitd3? Thanks
Good luck with that. Carbs are why your Vit D is low. You going to fix the cause or keep treating the symptoms like a silly doctor?
Where did you go to medical school??@@BeefNEggs057
I always heard that meloxicam was terrible for your liver
Nope, keto didn’t fix my lpr. Still have to take pantoprazole and most days it doesn’t work. I have had pulsatile tinnitus for 4 yrs now and some days ringing. I still do keto for other benefits but it didn’t cure my GERD.
That’s what I am taking. Are you taking anything at night too?
Check ur bloodwork
Lower carbs even more.....carnivore will absolutely heal. Keto can still mean too many carbs. I eat occasional green veggies but portions never over 10g carbs
There are numerous reasons for gerd. I needed surgery for a mechanical problem. All because now
Try bicarb soda.
Any hope for ACHLORHYDRIA???
Been carnivore for a year and it did help my sinus inflammation but not nearly as much as I'd hoped but my friend asked me last week if i cleaned my water bottle and i admitted i kept forgetting. And right enough it was full of black mold. Threw it out, got a new one. I'm hoping this does the trick cuz I'm sick of not smelling and tasting.
Be sure to get your 5th/6th booster for the unmentionable lab created virus. That will fix it for good.
I have had tinnitus for several years. 6 years of no sugar no grain and a few carnivore stints have not changed that. I also have a headache almost every morning. Could the headache be related?
Hi Anni - just spreading the word: look into Triumph over Tinnitus 3.0 by Liam Boehm :)
Thanks. I’ll check that out.
Well I have been keto for 5 yrs and the tinnitus and headaches started last year. Come to find out, it’s menopause and the drop in hormones that caused mine, nothing food can change. I just started hrt. I would suggest people get their hormones checked if they’re eating right and still having issues.
Faith were you able to resolve it with hormone replacement?
Try HIGH FAT RAW Carnivore or RAW PRIMAL HIGH FAT
Duct tape / force fed ice cream 😂😂😂
Yeah I am sure they twisted his arm to eat some ice cream 🙂
Taking liquid chlorophyll once per week stopped tinnitus for me.
Try the snake oil 😂🤣

My cat too. But vet drugs are the same as human drugs, just the doses change.
CAUTION: Heart attack can also manafest as "heartburn"
Wow! What kind of woman would do that to her husband?
Sounds like you are talking about me😢
Adopting a low carb diet allowed me to stop acid reflex medication.
i still get reflux , despite being on keto
Keep eliminating things until you find the culprit. Also you can mix a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in water and chug it down before meals. Usually you need more acid. Not less. Be sure you’re not taking your antacids anymore. They cause the problem. Your body needs time to heal and adjust. I had to use apple cider vinegar for about 3-6 months and then stopped and the reflux never came back. Now less than 10 carbs. Carnivore with cheese and cream and stevia in my coffee. Mostly beef and eggs. Simple and easy.
Take acv
1:50 Wut the heck?!
Definitely, carnivore made me lose ear ringing!
Wait wait wait … His wife did what!?? LOL!
I’d love my tinnitus gone
