  • Ensinar Geociências numa perspetiva de Desenvolvimento Sustentável ao longo do Ensino Básico
    Summary: Curriculum documents for Sciences in Basic Education in Portuguese schools (ages 6 to 15) that currently guide teachers' practices integrate Sustainable Development concerns regarding soils. However, a large gap emerges between official documents and teachers' perceptions of how to address such issues. So, urgent measures are needed to bridge those two worlds: reformulation of official documents that guide teachers' practices, teachers´ education and provision of educational resources focused on soils from a Sustainable Development perspective. Proposals to meet such needs are presented in this work.
