I guess they defined Krishna in a wrong way. You have Krishna as an incarnation of the full manifestation of Vishnu. And then you have Krishna in Goloka Vrindavana as his original full manifestation. Krishna is the supreme personality, so the original personality are in Krishna in Goloka, in Vishnu, in his incarnation and in his unlimited full manifestations in the spiritual real Vaikuntha, such as Aniruddha, Vasudeva, Samkarshana, Pradyumna, Narayana to name a few ones.
Disappointed. The Goddess didn't "ask" her husband anything. " The enraged Parvati shook the universe threatening to destroy it. To pacify her Shiva went to find a new head for the child, which he took from the first being he saw, which was an elephant." It has become chic to soften the Mother Goddess and downplay her power, but the original stories are all the same, Parvati was pissed and all the other gods were terrified. Some tellings say they all begged her to calm down and some have hubby being stubborn, but they all agree that she could not be stopped by force, only pacified.
Think of all the good things you could do with all those 6 hands, and perhaps, the bad things, but most importantly, your.. if not Omnipotence, then super-potence. You could carry 3 babies or 6 pistols or... cook more food at the same time :D Just... More stuff. Imho, a pretty primitive way of showing this ability to ''be more awesome'' but it has symbolism beyond this :)
i dont get it. y would a god have 6 hands. If anyone saw a human with 6 hands they will think he is a freak not something special. sorry no hard feelings but i just dont get it
Thank you for uploading such a wonderful and informative presentation.
