I guess I learned a couple of things in this video... It covered so much ground, I almost hate to bring it up, but some discussion about anticipations might help young groups take their music to the next level. I mention this because, even in professional jazz bands lately, I've noticed anticipations being "destroyed" (actually writing on-beat attacks after off-beat attacks). They do take some planning, but put so much swing into the music when they're played right that I bet any school groups would be glad to learn about them. Still, great video-- wish they had this when I was in high school!
