    10:24 but you still have the glue joints, how is this plywood core stell more stable than the actual wood itself?

      The weak part isn't the glue joint, its the wood that always breaks. I've broken dozens of shells to figure out how to make them stronger. This 3 piece stave has an inner piece of perpendicular orientated grain this make the piece infinitely stronger, my R&D goes deep... Ive made staves with an inner layer of fiberglass tape.     You should try cold smoking a shell overnight, see how it changes the sound 🤔
