Cutting My Loose Curls For More Layers

Hello! In this video, I am cutting my loose curls for more layers!
My hair shape had grown out from the last haircut I had done to myself. It was time for a nice change. My hair was looking flat and was starting to grow out very thickly at the ends, so I decided to give myself a haircut! This time I followed Manes by Mell's Pigtails haircut as a reference, to make it easier to add layers into my hair. This was not an easy task, although it looked fairly simple. I cut the framing layers of my face and proceeded to put my hair into pigtails. After the initial pigtail cut, I did it again, but this time slightly higher to achieve more layering. Then, I used a technique from CurlsbyShirlz Shirley's video, to add some shorter layers to the top section of my hair. I finally washed and styled my hair and was very happy with the results. My hair came to life again!
