As far as deciding who's baby try to use for Rosa's baby- I think it should go with whoever is raising the child as his own. I've always considered the trys about lineage, so if the world thinks the baby is Auguste's, then it should be his baby try.

Going for a seamstress is a solod move though because fabric was the way medieval people showed their wealth. He'd be able to network and work his way up the social ladder. He spent a lot of time in the Duchy of Burgundy which was the most extravagant court of the time, largely because of their fabric trade. The last heiress, Mary of Burgundy, was the wealthiest princess of her time.

Regardless of whether it's romantic or not, I do love the idea of them having a lifetime relationship!
