I truly love your channel. And, it really does inspire me. After having put down my fountain pens and seemingly an entire closet full of inks for several years, stumbling upon your channel here has made me drag them all back out of the closet, and begin to write again. Thank you.🥲
That’s amazing! Thank you so much. This comment made my day. Hearing that the silly videos I put out on the internet have such a positive impact on folks validates the effort behind them. I’m honored to have inspired you. 💜 be well and write on.
I love how thoroughly you explore these inks! What a great way to add the reed to the image (the word is escaping me) - had to smile at your idea! Thanks so much for sharing.
A question. Can you tell me a good source for some of the washi tape you use? There seems to be so much out there, that it's hard to know what's good or maybe not so good. Thanks again.
That’s a tough question. If you’re using it for watercolor you want it to be sticky enough not to let water through and not sticky enough not to tear your paper when you’re done. The Recollections brand from Michael’s is pretty good. This is what I most often use for watercolor. MT and Scotch have superior stick. BGM is good. The worst was a no name brand I bought on Amazon that barely stuck to itself. And, of course, regular masking tape works well too.

I like this ink more than I thought I would. Worried it might be too light, but I really enjoy the golden wheat color.
This is so satisfying to watch. Beautiful video! 🤘🏼🤩🧡🖋️
Thank you! I’m really enjoying my browns lately.
Love that lil artwork!
I was pleased with how the little wheats turned out. 🌾
This one seems legible. I like that in an ink. 🎉edit: also a lovely poem.
Beautiful poem. I wish I could have fit it all there. Definitely legible, shades very nicely too.
That's a pretty color.
I like it! It’s actually legible in finer nibs. I didn’t expect that.

Very interesting, thank you for sharing! Do you use a special paper for the chromatography?
It's chromatography paper. You can by it on Amazon inexpensively. I hear you can also use coffee filters.
@@TheDormousesDesk excellent! Thank you 😁
