Hi Karyna, Loved it, but I sure wish you would show close-ups of the ink swatches after they are dry. Anyway, I think Frankenstein is my favorite. Thank you so much! Lisa
The Dracula ink is so vibrant! After reading the Stoker book, I learned that the name refers to a magical folktale monster but also a story about the power of love and friendship to win over all the bad things in the dark. When you said it creeped you out, I get it. I might feel the same way about an ink called Sauron.
@@KarynaLovesToPlan I love how creative the Wearingeul names are and the literary references. I see the name and think of the character in book and the theme of the book, like Frankenstein.
Frankenstein! I love that- I love purples. I don't think many of us appreciate all the books we read. I think we have people read them waaaaaay too soon!
@@KarynaLovesToPlan I honestly only read it a few years ago and it was tough to read (booooring) but felt like the ideas brought up in it were so important. Definitely a book you should read with a class.
Dracula and Frankenstein is very pretty but I also like the shading in the Muddy Sand swatch. Don't know if it helps you feel better about the ink, but Dracula (Vlad Tepes) is seen as a hero in Romania with him defending their country in fighting The Ottomans. 🤗 I got my first Wearingeul ink (Enki), Edwards Gardens and some Diamine inks on Friday and look forward to trying them. 😇🩷🙏🙌
I love all the colors-so vibrant! Even the muddy sand lol. Dracula and poison envy won’t be going on my list though; I’ve learned they’re not my fave shades for writing 🌈
Seeing you using your Kakimori brass nib so much has made me really want one, but they're more expensive than I expected. Gonna save up for it and see if I still want one in a few months.
0:56 ...Very nice Ink & Pen holder you have there...😎👍💯🌟🌟🌟🌟 I love the Wood appearance..it is more organic than the plastic ones. 1:20...What is the Size of those Sample bottles ? 5ml ? 10ml ?
My favourite there is Old Man and the Sea…with a mention to Muddy Sand. I’m not a fan of shimmer as I really just use inks for writing and don’t want to risk clogging my pens which are mainly fine nibs but I can appreciate the qualities on the swatches you do so many thanks.
Thank you for the video, and could you possibly get close up on the writing. All the swatches look great, but it's what comes out of my nib that I'm interested in. 😮 if I went by your lovely swatches, I'd have to have them all. Add to that, I am an EF Kinda girl, so not often do the properties come out. Thanks for considering my request.
Thanks for watching! I try the best I can with what I have, but the Kakimori brass nib is NOT an EF nib and I cannot ink up EF nibs just for ink swatching. To be fair, I mostly use EF and F and most of these if not all do look great in an EF.
A darker green ink? Honestly, any Pilot Iroshizuku ink would be great in the Esterbrook. If you are looking for green inks, I just posted the green ink exploration - there may be a match there!
I love your swatches. I’ve bought several inks because of your swatches. Thanks for you hard work. Have you tried Lennon Toolbar Brown Sugar. I thinks it’s a nice brown.
I had to reinked my pen three times becuase the prior two inks were just too light for legibility purposes. Disappointing because they were so pretty but way too late. I'm a sucker for the wearingeul the old man and the sea kind of color. adding that to my list for sure. I have persephone coming my way and cannot wait to try it after seeing your swatches.
Helped me decide to remove Frankenstein from my wish list. I think I want it to be Frankenstein green not blue purple. Thanks. The Persipany is gorgeous tho
Hi Karyna,
Loved it, but I sure wish you would show close-ups of the ink swatches after they are dry.
Anyway, I think Frankenstein is my favorite.
Thank you so much!
Lisa
Thank you for watching! And yes, I will be more mindful of that in the future!
I love all of the shimmer inks 😍 especially Wearingeul’s. I think they are the smoothest flowing shimmer inks I’ve tried.
I wish some of those shimmer inks were more saturated, though! But yes, I love Wearingeul shimmer inks, too!

Thank you for this! It helps knowing the reference and history behind the names of certain things!

Agree. Didn’t think brown ink could grow on me, too. It’s lovely to sketch with it. 😊
It is so good, isn’t it? Need to try more brown inks now!
@@KarynaLovesToPlan For sure 😊🥰
I am loving the Robert Oster. I’m a big fan of browns.
I am getting into browns more and more!
Lovely comparisons. Thank you. 😊❤
Thanks for watching!
Frankenstein! I love that- I love purples. I don't think many of us appreciate all the books we read. I think we have people read them waaaaaay too soon!
I read Frankenstein in first year university, and I didn't appreciate it for what it was then!

Thank you for the explanation - I love that. Helps me see the ink differently!

Poison Envy’s sheen is not for me so I get it! Thanks for watching!

They are a bit more expensive but they have lasted me longer than the two glass nibs I had.
Muddy Sand was my fave.
I can see why!! Browns are starting to grow on me!
I bought a bottle of Wearingeul Dracula because… that purple shimmer 💜💜💜
So good, isn’t it?!

These were 5ml sample vials.

All the nibs I use are Fine or Extra Fine and I don’t have issues with the shimmer inks!
Beautiful swatching. Frankenstein is going right in my cart 😂

I’m trying to find a darker ink for Esterbrook sea glass pen what do you recommend? Love your videos, so relaxing! I love old man and the sea.

Has anyone tried Hongdian Fountain Pen Bottled Ink? Sold on Amazon
I am a fan of your videos! Just curious about the sticker labels you use for your sample vials?
I meant the circular white stickers on top...
I love your swatches. I’ve bought several inks because of your swatches. Thanks for you hard work. Have you tried Lennon Toolbar Brown Sugar. I thinks it’s a nice brown.
Thank you so much! No, I have not tried that yet! Need to add to the list!
@@KarynaLovesToPlan I can send you a sample.

Wearingeul inks are beautiful but you're right - too light! Enjoy your new inks coming!

Good choice!
Karyna, what is the shelf life of fountain pen ink and is there a good way to store it?
Most inks can last for years, as long as it is kept in a cool dry and dark place.
@@KarynaLovesToPlan Thanks for your quick response.
Im curious about your nib holder! Is that also from Kakimori?
The holder is from River City Pen Company!
