A compilation of my videos before Russell was given a laundry button! He is SO SMART! #catmanjohn #russellthecat #talkingcat #talkingbuttons #catbuttons
We had a cat who wouldn't eat his food unless we made it "special". This consisted of picking up his bowl, stirring his food around and putting it back down for him. It started after the dog had to go to the vet and we gave him his meds by adding it to his food. Don't tell me that animals are dumb creatures that understand nothing, lol.
Noone in my family didn't believe that my cat always meows me when the water is boiling in the ladle until he did the same thick to them. Your sweet boy is the example that cats are way smarter than anyone can imagine too.

It's so funny what they latch onto like that. I had one cat who would berate and bully my husband if he stayed up to play video games. He was like "NO! It's BEDTIME. You STOP it. Stop it NOW!" He'd also come in and boss us around when we were arguing. That's why one of his many nicknames was Mr. Bossy Meows.
I live in the US where tornadoes are a real possibility so we have a weather alarm radio. When it goes off for a storm, we grab the cat and head to the basement. But it does not always sounds because of a storm. Amber Alerts and the weekly test are not basement-worthy. So my cat knows the weather radio is important, but always. He makes it his job to tell us the weather radio is sounding if he thinks we did not hear it. He will hover by the basement door until we acknowledge we heard the radio.
Animals have things that worry them too, a mate’s dog used to let us know that the oven or stove was on in case we forgot, which did help when we did forget.
That's a comparatively EXTREMELY IMPORTANT thing to worry about lol, maybe they had been a service dog before hand? That's the sort of thing they sometimes get trained for!

Russell just don’t want his humans to have wrinkled clothes and bed sheets. I mean you can’t go outside with wrinkles can you lol. I love Russell and the whole crew. Got yourself a pretty special family there.
I wonder if it's about slightly damp stuff becoming smelly. If cats have more sensitive noses than humans, maybe incipient sour smells offend them more or at lower thresholds than it does for us.
You 2 are great together. I have an orange tabby that is very chatty and likes to lead me to wherever he needs. I have another that led me to the woods and creek to show me where he plays; he kept me in eye sight the whole way. If I had taken the time to teach them word buttons, I’d enjoy their intelligence even more.
I mean, if you keep repeating the same mistake over and over again, it's pretty obvious that Russell is a lot smarter and you should be grateful because he's basically a saint for being that patient and tolerant🤣🤣🤣
You know, watching this I'm starting to realize one of our cats might be both able and interested enough to learn buttons like this. Most of our cats couldn't give a crap but Septimus is a real character.
Cannot even imagine having a Kitty Chore Nag, but must say that this is QUITE BEYOND ADORABLE. HE IS SO POLITE. NO FINGER WAGGING EITHER. Just a couple buttons, a bit of quiet meow meow... I AM DEAD!!! 🤜🤛
Russel likes to follow the household routine. The buzzer or silence of the dryer alerts him that it's time to "go in" and haul laundry out of the machine. Good for him! Poor humans, always staff for cats, even the nicest cats. 😁
So I bought a super cheap washer/dryer . So cheap that the dryer doesn't have a buzzer ! Turns out the buzzer is really important if you don't like wrinkles. Russell would definitely solve my problem ! Good kitty!
He absolutely does NOT like for there to be laundry left in the dryer Mom, and how sweet of him to open the door for you!! I just love how when you're talking to him he always replies 😻🥰❤
