Whatever you said is not really true for general computer science masters. They allow people from other backgrounds to switch to cs but there are only handful of them also vlsi doesn't involve coding . Lol
Are Microbachelors programme valid from edx as it's by universities and they also offer credits and a transcript? Also the links you mentioned if I wanted to just few of the courses how can I do that?
Edx's Microbachelors programs may be a viable alternative but they add a level of complexity. It's difficult to predict whether all universities will accept these courses as enough to fulfill their prerequisites. I recommend that you email 2-3 universities and find the general opinion. If they say yes, before you apply to any college outside these 2-3, ensure you email those as well to double-check. Now, for individual courses, I believe you can contact De Anza and Foothill and they will explain their procedure to enroll in just a few courses.
