I really don't understand why they didn't make the 10" pen friendly as well. I need as much screen real estate as possible so it would have been nice to be able to use the pen on both devices.

Thanks for the screenshot tip! I've been using the swipe to screenshot feature on my phone and it can be pretty annoying. I never thought of alternative ways to do screenshot and I prefer using the buttons instead.

H E L P ! I have been struggling to move my apps or even their data to my SD card. However, when I followed your directions: SETTINGS/APPS/YOU TUBE/ STORAGE. When you get to 09:16, YOUR SCREEN has a CHANGE button. I just ran the update, which would explain the interface change. My screen reads: Clear data. Clear cache Space used App Data Cache Total There's nothing else about moving it to the SD card. 😩 As it stands, I have less than a gig left in primary storage! Please help!
from my knowledge of other android devices with this problem, not all apps can be transferred over to sd card. I downloaded an app called app2sd (or something like that) and it would tell me which apps could go on the sd card and would help me to put them all on the sd card. Hope this helps!

Got one yesterday for £180 ,its fast but I prepared the older version, my older version works fine I've had it for 4years on it 2to3 times daily now the power terminal on it is very slack but it still is fine,Samsung is a very good reliable make you should get years out of this tab,worth every penny.
I can't find any 8.0 inch versions of Tab A. Is it limited to US or other regions? I've looked at shops, Amazon.de and Amazon.co.uk as well as on eBay. Samsung.dk doesn't have any information about it either.
Right now, it's mostly limited to some Asian countries... there are rumors about another 8-inch Samsung tablet without an S Pen and I'm afraid it's likely that the cheaper one will come to Europe but this one won't :(

Have the 8 inch without pen, missing most of the gestures, well all except dbl tap to turn on screen. Great video, still have to try to split screen method, hopefully my seems to be a generic version has that capability. Very disappointing to find out I bought a watered down device.

yes all of it you mentioned will happen period. cannot support smart tv or mirroring vise versa so don't buy it if you want those features.

I have no problems with it working with my smart TV. My TV and Tab are both new but they mirror great

Yes, graphics can be set to HD and frame rate to high. You will see some minor stuttering though with these settings.
