This is a traditional Chinese food, which is called "Bao Zi" in Chinese. Bao Zi is also called "Big Dumpling" for the convenience of cultural export.
Stuffing is usually made from pork (or beef), ginger, soy sauce, cooking wine, spring onions, garlic and some other vegetables(e.g. mushrooms, carrots, leeks or Chinese chive).

I was married to a Chinese man from Hong Kong. His mother used to make these delicious cookies. She would make the dough and cut it into a circle. Then she would add crushed peanuts, sesame seeds and Sugar I believe. Then she would fold them and crimp the edges, and fry them. They were sooo good. She is gone now and I wish I had asked for the recipe as my daughter loved them so much.

은마 거주 11년차 입니다. 여기 맛나요. 이 동네에 요런 만두를 파는 곳이 몇개 안되서 주민 입장에서 돋보이는 것도 있어요. 굳이 와서 먹을 정돈 아니지만 은마상가에 요기할만한 맛집?들이 있고, 맛 대비 가격도 괜찮아서 이래저래 만족해요.
진짜 맛있겠다. 먹으러 가야겠다!!!
