I'm currently using the Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper 1260mm SuperNova Radiator (14351) With d5 pump hanging off the side of the radiator. With the Aquacomputer Cuplex Kryos NEXT VARIO With VISION AM4/3000/5000, Nickel/.925 Silver (21786) Waterblock it's cooling the delidded Amd 7950x with liquid metal and it has been a great improvement overall. Can keep it cool and quiet or really cool and loud if you want it to be lol.
would love to see a performance test between Aqua Computer Airplex Radical 72mm thick radiator and the Alphacool Monsta 80mm radiator... I tried to find out what the fin density of the Airplex Radical is but it isn't listed anywhere sadly :-(
Love frozen CPU... just a tip on the video. There is more that goes into radiator selection, like heat soak tables radiator material and fan selection and static pressure fans off FPI. There is more but still great video love the site.
Hi there. We do not make any custom pump tops. I would have to see the situation in person to recommend you one, however they are all pretty close in size.
does the number of channels (or tubes, idk what they're called but basically where the coolant flow inside the radiator) matter? I see the most common is 12, some are 10, others 18 which looks too restrictive.
Sure it will matter. Quite honestly I have not looked too far into that aspect. I am sure it is similar to air cooler heat pipes where once you reach a certain amount you get diminishing returns.
I don't think there's absolute "best". It depends on your requirements. They're all build on the same basic principles explained here. Just make sure your fans have sufficient static pressure for the fins density of the rad. I go with EKWB for their 45mm thick low fpi triple model as a good compromise. I can fit two of those which gives me good cooling performance even though I'm in fact aiming for low noise / low maintenance.

Yo he's a really helpful and knowledgeable dude. Really nice people over there I'm lucky to live 15 minutes away.
Thanks, didn't consider dust indeed, but a very good point.
Absolutely

Absolutely right. I wish I had more time and testing equipment to do the more scientific stuff. Thanks for the kind words.
Do you happen to make a D5 pump top that fits inside a 2U case?

great vid short, informative
ADD?
this was the best vid on youtube about this wow definite like and sub.
What's the best one on the market atm?

Didn’t realize we were in the 90s still
