The Prophet (peace be upon him) also said that “your smile for your brother is charity” (Tirmidhi). Abdullah bin ‘Amir bin Al-‘as (May God be pleased with him) reported that a man asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) “which act in Islam is the best?” to which he replied “to give food, and to greet everyone whether you know or you do not know” (Al Bukhari and Muslim).
@Simon Stauber hi first of all, marrying a 9 year old was a culture thing in Arabia. Also, this marriage was according to the will of that 9 yr old and her parents. Bcz in Islam if you don't really agree and say "i accept" the marriage, your marriage doesn't count. It was by God's will in order to spread truth bcz that 9 yr old learnt directly from muhammad and contributed to one-third of the truth that was spread.

That's because if you were present among them, you wouldn't have pointed a finger either since it was a norm, there have been way lot more examples other than just him. Moreover the girls in deserts especially during that period used to hit puberty earlier than the girls of the 21st century, they were mature enough by as young as 10 to be married off just like any 16 or 17 yr olds that become single mothers in this 21st century. Bro every prophet in history before they became a prophet ( whether young or old ) they were already very kind, humble and righteous men for it was in their nature. God didnt told them to be kind. God chose them because of their big and kind hearts. Bro every prophet in history before they became a prophet ( whether young or old ) they were already very kind, humble and righteous men for it was in their nature. God didnt told them to be kind. God chose them because of their big and kind hearts.
