I think you're right about the nation locations. This is especially since we had a couple of events where Qiaoying Village, an unreleased area of Liyue, was talked about. It's said to be in the northwestern part of Liyue, and Liben told us it's common for people to pass through Qiaoying Village on their way to Fontaine. Therefore, Fontaine has to be on the western border of Liyue. Now, speaking of triangulating...
Since Celestia now has a 3D model instead of just being a 2D image constantly rotated to face us, I decided to figure out where it is. I viewed it from Stormterror's Lair and then from the northern border of Sumeru. It appears that Celestia is currently floating right above where we expect Fontaine to be. In Liben's most recent visit, he said the people of Fontaine keep saying "Judgment is coming" and with Celestia floating right above their heads, I don't blame them for thinking that.
Yeah and fontaine is like currently most technologically advanced region in tevyat too, someone has to be coming for them

It was mentioned in the mechanical painting event, and I remember being like "Hey, they should go for that dream even if no one believes in them. The Oceanid fled from Fontaine and currently resides in Qingce. I've had my suspicions about Celestia and it's position.
@@melvinmonjeau7325 In an event where we got a baby "Oceanid" pet (They're actually called lochfolk), we learned that the Oceanid, Rhodeia, left Fontaine because she and many other lochfolk don't like the new Hydro Archon. They used to basically work as spies for the old Hydro Archon, but something about how the new one operates upset them, so they left.
You also have to take into consideration that the map borders got expanded after the addition of the desert. Previously the "Teleport Barrier" (the point where you get teleported no matter what) was just before the big pyramid and it was actually outside the visible map of the menu map. Now the menu map has been expanded and I think it will be expanded even more in the future

Exactly. With the 4.0 and 4.1 updates. 2 large landmasses were added to be placeholders for natlan and snhezhaya meant to be the general shape.
There are some old "leaked" or alpha/beta maps of the game. Natlan is almost where you theorized it to be, just a bit more southwest, with a volcano and a dark/black beach on the south side of the continent. There is a waterfall area in Fontaine and also Celestia is also part of the map (how/why). There were also peculiar things such as Dark Castles and frozen watefalls.

The map is now old because they added extra Islands to Inazuma and the desert is now in Sumeru instead of being between Natlan and Snezhnaya.
(Which didn't make sense on the old leaked map)
My speculation is that there were/ are 2 teams in Mihoyo working on the regions. One for fine tuning and one for the rough work and they work on 1,5 region. That's why the jungle part of Sumeru is almost like it was released but almost all islands on Inazuma are missing on the leaked map.
It makes sense why we don't know almost anything about the geographic of Snezhnaya or natlan.
So the spoilers:
= Fontaine =
Fontaine gets one of 2 types of cities:
The map leak has a city marked as a Waterfall city and a city named High city (which can be Celestia). Another leak tells us that Fontaines main city is in a see and has branches and is located on the map where high city is on the leaked map. (so maybe 2 cities/ 1 city and a waterfall village?)
= Mondstadt =
So Mondstadt is gonna get a harbor (new info based on theories and texts/voice lines) or a black castle (old info on leaked map, was maybe moved to the Fischls summer event)
In the empty space between Mondstadt and Lyue is a Meteorite Crater/ lake and a Ring shape Mountain. (I think it was not as much developed as Inazuma and sumeru)
= Natlan =
Natlan gets a volcano region (like Dragonspine), a black beach and lava lakes.
= Snezhnaya =
Snezhnaya was not developed in Inazuma times but it was where you placed it.
btw did you know that our map is rotated by 180 degrees?
In Mondstadt the guardian of the north is located in the south and the guardian of the west is located on the east. Search for it and ponder whether this is a mistake on the part of the developers or part of the lore.. ;D

There was a new analysis (2 months ago; private server) from leakers of the terrain of Genshin and it seems like the rough work team has started making Fontaine (4.0; mountains and lakes take shape) and the fine tuning team is doing the 3.4 and 3.6 regions of the north of Sumeru currently (will not be updated untill full release sadly).
The underground map of the chasm is also oriented wrong, since you can go into the dendro cave ,climb up, which then leads you up to the surface near ghandarva vile in sumeru.
It also makes sense if you take that into account and rotate the chasm map accordingly, youll see the mushroom cave be right under mawtiyima forest.
I'm guessing the ring-shaped mountain was an early concept for the Chasm. They did also change other things for Inazuma, like they removed the lighthouse, Sakura Lake, and the fishing village. They also adjusted how Liyue Harbor is set up. I'm still really curious what Black Castle is and if they kept it or ditched the idea.
One thing they did seem to keep, though, is Celestia floating above Fontaine. If you view Celestia from Stormterror's Lair, view Celestia again from the north edge of Sumeru, and then triangulate it, you'll find that Celestia is floating right above where we expect Fontaine to be. I'm willing to bet this idea was kept because it likely has story significance, especially considering Liben recently told us the people of Fontaine kept saying "Judgment is coming."

@@meridoberman6740 Me too. The lake itself was shaped like a sakura flower. That's all we really know about it, though, from the leaked map. I like to imagine it would've been surrounded by sakura trees and have petals on the water. Maybe that's where they were originally going to put the Sacred Sakura.

I had a dream today about the rest of the nations. The dream included an area with bridges that connect to every nation that hasn’t been out yet. They connected like a rectangle for some reason and it looked stunning when I viewed it. This dream has definitely got to be bullshittery

described it as a fiery swamp, so at least part of it must be sort of the in between for fontaine and the desert area

Well, I think it's something that developers started to develop and then either they had to work on another project or the border line just got moved and it was supposed to be inside the border and no one has thought about fixing it yet

@@user-xt2ru4vx1q This person always finds so many things not many know about, and this type of video is really interesting about how he uses the x y and z directions. Since the map of genshin is not fully unlocked yet, it is cool to see how it could turn out using this.

Hi, if you have Sayu you can travel much faster
when you are logged in, immediately switch to Sayu, point her in the direction you want to go and hold her skill, after Paimon finishes his line for the second time, immediately start pressing button to switch to another character (after 2s pressing character will actually switch), then log out, before being teleported back. And do the same thing again. This is how i travel outside.
Bro... You could make so much more content from this. It's so interesting. Like just this area between Liyue and Sumeru - what is it, what it can be, what have you found and seen exactly? Or - what are those circles at the desert in the north??? This is fascinating, I would like to hear so much more. I would say you hit gold and you made so much effort, it's worth to show us more from it, compare to already released regions, speculate about it, etc.

The dessert region that you drew that looks like it has a swirl in the middle of it is actually accurate, judging of a this I like you have a pretty accurate map it what will come in the future
You can just, you know, scroll around the map to blandly figure out the full map. At a certain point, the map just launches you back, possibly meaning that "The map ends here". I just used that and for me. Fontaine will go from Mondstand all the way to Sumeru(Large bodies of water), Natlan will be at the southern most point(connects with Sumeru) and Snezhnaya will be at the northern most point but it will connect with Mondstand. So for me, the map will be something close to that.
I know the map you filled out in this video is long outdated now, but the fact that you managed to accurately depict the topography of the Desert of Hadramaveth and the Girdle of the Sands months before their official releases is quite impressive. They look almost identical to their official depictions to the point that I'm able to retroactively spot a piece of land where the Vourukasha Oasis is located. To that, I say, you did a very good job!
And lastly, Khaenri'ah is south of the desert. If I remember correctly, there was an easter egg-I believe a name of a place in some files or old betas-somewhere in the desert's canyon with the golem, a name that meant "southern" or related to the south, and it was also related to the giant ruin golem. So, perhaps, Khaenri'ah is just south of the desert part of Sumeru.
That actually makes sense now that we have the new archon quest. Kaeya mentioned that Khaenri'ah is under sumeru, god why is genshin and it's lore + theories so interesting

There is a bug that u can (or used to be able to) use that let's you walk on infinitely outside bounds, you go near a place you can dive and wait for ur charaters idle animation. U press jump/ and you shouldn't move. You then open camera and swap between poses until your charater dives. Once they dive, press another pose and you can walk on infinitely in any direction, but once you walk there you can't stop/change direction without starting over hopefully this Is helpful.
Considered Shneznaya is in the North, and port Dorman is north of City of Monstadt, I wouldn't be surprised Dorman is an alcove of secret Fatui activities.

I explored the area where natlan ground would be and the floor is scorched black and upper of natlan is all frozen ground of snezhnaya. it was fun exploring

i wouldnt be suprised if one of the nations is split into north and south, maybe natlan for example, part of natlan may have split off and settled on a large island west of inazuma and will take up that area

On the adventures guild exploration stuff, where you can send amber to carve rocks for 20 hours- theres a map that shows each region and some stuff outside of where we can travel ....would have saved you some hours. ...

the only thing is I believe that Snezhnaya is mentioned to only be accessible by boat so I'd imagine it would be north-east of monstadt on some form of island
There is also a statue of the seven visible on the west of stormterror liar. The same area which you circled at 4:31, I found that out when game was in 1.2.
So far you seem right about Fontaine we still probably only have like 1/5 of Fontaine out right now so it will probably go towards monstadt if it goes any other way I’ll be surprised but it seems we are getting bigger and bigger areas to explore we got monstadt and dragon spine then liyue which all combined is like 2x bigger then monstadt the inazuma that’s around the same size if you put enkonomiya and all of inazuma together since enkonomiya is part of inazuma (same with the chasm which is pretty big so inazuma may actually be a bit smaller and don’t get me started on Sumeru just the grassy jungle is like the same size of liyue without the chasm not to mention it has underground areas aswell not as big as the chasm or enkonomiya but still then the desert EVEN BIGGER THEN THE JUNGLE AREA and all together the underground bits has to be like the same size as the chasm and fontain has only got it’s second area has it not? Or was the water cubes able to be explored (kinda couldn’t get loot but go up to them) or were the water cubes just not finished yet meh whatever but still fontain will atleast be the size of liyue not to mention all the underwater exploration I think it’d be cool if they made a place like enkonomiya but completely underwater that we can explore like a huge reef that’d be sick

u can use Ninja Ripper tool for extraction all of the geometry that on your screen in directx, that could let you get all of the LOD meshes of map, that far away. With using this BUG you can get as close as it possible to this meshes and capture more of the geometry. It costs around 5-10$ on developer's parteon and also has a video example on yt channel of how to do that with genshin. And you would probably create a new genshin account because this program is integrating itself in rendering pipeline that could be detected as a cheat, but i did this twice with my second account like 2-3 month ago and it's still running witout any restrictions.
My friend was able to walk Past Pimon and got to see like unleash stuff there is so many water falls also sayu is good at passing Pimon

As far as I understood, you got the locations of the 3 last regions right, there is also an unnoficial speculative map that was released and it has been accurate so far with Sumeru. We'll have to see if it's gonna be correct in regards to Natlan and Fontaine, probably will tbh. Now c'mon, Snezhnaya, cold, gotta be north no brainer there.

I'd like to see you/someone redo this in a private server, i managed to fly all the way up to celestia (was gravely disappointed) when i played w a private server recently. There's no red out of bounds and no paimon!!
I have played a Genshin 3.4 private server apk, when entering the map i spawned out of bound of Sumeru desert south. The game is cracked as hell Paimon do not even restrict me wherever i go.
Dandelion sea where? I also wonder if the tornado thing is in Sumeru is called Mare Jivari or if iMare is in the large sand region.

I thought we basically already knew what the map looked like, at least insofar as you've drawn it. Natlan extends further south than I would have realized in your version, but otherwise, it's basically what I'd seen from rumors and leaks 2 years ago.
It seems to me that the map may actually turn out to be not so square and circular ..
It is possible that Fontaine above Sumeru will touch the sea from the upper side because this is a hydro region, and Snezhnaya will be higher above Mondstadt ..
Natlan is the only location whose location is already well understood)
But to be honest, I really believe more that the snow will be on top of Mondstadt, and Fontaine will still touch the sea)

The cyan area is definitely Fontaine, not Natlan. Way back when we got the bartending event, characters started mentioning Qiaoying Village. That village is said to be in the northwest area of Liyue, and around the time of the bartending event, we got a Marvelous Merchandise event where Liben told us that people often pass through Qiaoying Village on their way to Fontaine. This means that Fontaine borders Liyue.

i’m pretty sure snezhnaya is on the otherside of liyue harbour though?? npcs have to get there by boat and there’s no ports on the otherside of liyue, also most snezhanyian merchants reside in the harbour, i think it’d make more sense if it took up the empty space between the main tevyat contentent and inazuma, just my thoughts tho
