Ruin completely confuses me. Everything is so perfectly set up to show that the princess quest ending is canon, and then the one word “prototype” (which was EDITED OUT OF THE TRAILER mind you) comes in on a giant metaphorical wrecking ball and just destroys literally everything
I mean, the prototype thing (and Freddy in general) isn’t the only thing that pokes holes in the idea of the Princess Quest ending being the true SB ending. Vanny’s graffiti is literally ALL OVER the Pizzaplex and definitely did not get there until after SB. And there’s not currently really any good explanation for that other than Vanny still being active after SB. I have no idea why so many people completely disregard this (nor Freddy), like it wasn’t purposely put there for a reason
And honestly, a lot of the evidence for Princess Quest being true is pretty circumstantial and can be interpreted in different ways (especially with hindsight). The only really solid evidence point to me is it being the only one Gregory didn’t draw. But even that has a lot of weird aspects to it and can be interpreted to mean different things. Especially with us knowing they can’t be entirely made up since the Blob/Tangle is real and accurate. Classic FNAF stuff lol 🤷🏽♀️

I think the only thing is that its basically confirmed or heavily implied vanny and Vanessa are the same. Vanessa being on top of the building does make sense from the 'her spirit is trapped' perspective. How? PQ. We know its either Vanessa or something that resembles her fight against malhare (glitchtrap) because we free her in the PQ ending. And some more evidences include:
1. As cliché as this sounds, they aren't in the same places at the same time. Although this can be countered easily so it isn't as important, but its evidence.
2. Yeah, Vanessa tries luring you to the stage, not Vanny. But think about HOW she does it. She sounds normal, then goes into a (possibly) possessed tone trying to seem trustworthy.
3. AR confirms this as well by malhare using her to google things like 'how to induce compliance in human subjects' or something along those lines.
4. What would be the point in having someone who looks exactly lke Vanessa, with no other story or character arc, that randomly appeared (for some reason), if its not her?
5. The Vanny meter might not have been implemented (as cool as it would have been), because it might put too much stress on the player (especially on the endo section), and it might make them too panicked to appreciate the game and all its surroundings (as buggy as they were at the time 😑).
6. The voice lines may have swung the away from what they were trying to say. Example: the fact that Vanny has a different VA, and childish giggles may have suggested they weren't the same. But they needed her to say something. So they probably just chose the line that sounded close to Vanessa's voice. Which sadly was the repeated 'ArE yOu HaViNg fUn YeT?' Line.
6½. This also could have been why they didn't add burntrap's 'you will, both of you.....BURN!' line from the trailer. Because someone else may have been under aftons (or mimic depending on how you lean in the debate despite there being quite a bit of decent evidence being against mimictrap) control, but people might have been confused and thought that it was Vanny and Vanessa, and not Vanessa and someone else (that wasn't Vanny).
7. We don't have that much to go off of that contradicts freddy's 'Vanessa and bunny' connection.
Even though Vanny and Vanessa were probably originally meant to be separate, we got it different in game, but i do see your points and even if its debunked, its still an interesting thought. (Perhaps considering malhare wasn't gotten rid of like you pointed out, that could suggest he still has control over Vanessa maybe). Good theory tho 👍🏻

Vanessa has the potential of becoming a copy-cat-killer that she was originally designed to be, since she knew afton and she may indulge in his way of thinking and seek for imortality, but at this point I don't think steel wool is even whilling to spend time developing her character anymore cuz... y'know, mimic is the new pet of franchise
They could have her appear and still struggle with the Vanny persona. Not to mention that in the next game there might be two Vannies, Vanessa and Cassie. Yet I haven't played any of the fnaf games, but having the missing children be brainwashed via the Glitchtrap virus would make sense as they dress up in costumes say during a Fall fest and cause havoc.
I feel like a lot of confusion in Security Breach does just come from the fact that so much got changrd so late in development ... Ruin does seem to be showing some hope though. I'm really hoping this theoru is true and we'll get more Vanny!! Great vid as always!!!
So Does PQ4 explains the Sword and Arcade Cabinet in RUIN….the Princess is gone, the Player from HW2 having taken her place and has been locked away in a claw machine.

That's a good theory, I really wish They would have made the ending of security breach a little bit more solvable. not like "oh yeah this is the ending", but like For example sister location, or help wanted we Could put the ending of them together but security breaches is so hard.....
this might be a stretch but i've had a theory on vanny for a WHILE now and i haven't seen anyone talk about it. what if vanny is one of the mimic bots pretending to be vanessa? one piece of evidence is cut voicelines. i don't usually use cut content for theories but it just thought this was so interesting, vanny's cut voice lines are an old man, a little girl, and vanessa. if the mimic is mimicking 3 people at once, maybe elizabeth, vanessa and william, it would explain her behavior a lot. it would explain why her name is vanny, (vanessa and bunny/william) and she sometimes acts like a kid by skipping around and stuff. so if vanny is the mimic, then why does she look like vanessa in the fire escape ending? i think she could be using an illusion disc. also not to mention in the start of the game when you see the endo crawl down the wall, right after that happens you hear vanessa start talking. there's a lot more pieces of evidence but you should try to look into it if u want, and if i got anything wrong let me know because its been awhile since i last looked into this theory:)

Interesting video however i cannot agree with Burntrap ending being the canon one (or happening at all)
-We see Burntraps room in Ruin and it's completly intact which shouldn't be the case as we see it complelty destroyed in the Burntrap ending cinematic (with the hatch that Tangle snatches Burntrap being even complelty shut/closed);
-We know from the files (and the enviroment) that The Tangle was the one to destroy Monty/Chica fence blocking up the way to the Sinkhole's elevator, which contradicts Burntrap ending as in it we use Fully upgraded Freddy to open the gate;
-We also have the comics Gregory made, and i really fail to see point of these collectibles if they werent supposed to tell us which ending is canon. If the Burntrap ending is canon why would it have a comic? What makes it diferent from the other fictional events shown in the other comics? And why wouldn't PQ ending have a comic if we assume its also a fictional scenario?
The whole intact room and gate thing are good points but I guess, in addition to all the points made by DWfan in the video, if Gregory drew the Burntrap comic, it opens up weird questions like...why did he draw that? He must have seen the BLOB in order to draw it, does that mean he saw Burntrap too? When? How?? Is Burntrap even canon?? If Vanny wasn't killing kids to bring William back, why WAS she killing kids?? Yknow what I mean?
@@VaguelyRowlet I mean he went down to the Sinkhole to seal the Mimic so he had to see Burntrap (whether they are the same entity or not) he def existed, as for the Tangle we know he is roaming around the pizzaplex so saying Gregory saw him somewhere on the way to the elevator isnt that big of a stretch (especially considering how much Tangle tunells we can see throught the pizzaplex). The Vanny stuff really depends on who you think Burntrap is, if it's Mimic then he prob forced her to kill kids as a way to "mimic" Afton (or some other motive Mimic has we arent aware off currently, perhaps remnant seeing how Scooper is in the Ruin DLC) if it's William it's prob for Remnant its kinda debatable atm.
Maybe it DID happen tho. There's a couple possibilities like maybe the fire and crumbling and that was over exaggerated or maybe it's because of the technicians that were there. Ruin confirmed people went there after whatever happened. Proof of this happening before ruin also includes the tech we see and the condition of burntrap's boss fight area. Like, why would it be in a decent enough condition after a mass burning years prior? And the buttons. What design to they take? The new updated tech we see through SB. The bear head shape. The same shape we had NO proof existed prior to the construction of te pizzaplex. Not only that but are the comics REALLY drawn by Gregory? The item description of comic page 1 is "These look like Gregory drew them". But we also see the mimic (I think you know where I might be going with this). So what if these were drawn by the MIMIC? Wether you believe malhare (glitchtrap) is mimic01 or not, there is still the mimic01 AI which is learning. And considering the 'Si-Fi' direction the games are taking (digital consciousness transference, mimicking AI, the glamrocks etc) it wouldn't be too far fetched to assume the mimic figured out these were possible outcomes to SB and drew them out maybe? Or possibly, not matter what ending happened it all leads to ruin. Its all about which was the canon one. What I mean is maybe Gregory saw tangle take burntrap and made up a cool fire sequence that could have led up to burntrap being taken. (That is if the mimic didn't draw them and it WAS Gregory that did).
Sorry for the amount of rambling I did. I just wanted to share my thoughts on it wether anyone cares or not lol
(sorry this comment is so long) so i got this theory from ryetoast dmuted and you so I think that Vanny and vanessa are the same people because of the proof you showed and I think they are twins like the VR twins and one of them got possessed by glitch trap and the other didn't the one that did got rescued by Gregory. but when vanny was evil vanny she built a bunch of spare vanny masks so because just in case she needed more people to be glitch traps servant so when the construction workers went to clean up the mess or rebuild the pizzaplex they gave them those masks to help with things but eventually they would turn in to glitch traps servent because they would use the mask for too long so then the workers did the graffiti and the mask bot but the glitch trap virus wasn't satisfied with them so somehow either killed them off or M.X.E.S. made them take off the mask and leave but then later Cassie comes in. but then good vanny tells Gregory about all of this and they go back and the burntrap ending took place but when vanny was evil vanny vanny built a bunch of ensoskeletons so that of they can't use burntrap then they can just use a different endoskeleton but all of them broke down because of the rebate all except one of them which was one (also burntrap has the mimic A.I.) the mimic we see in ruin so now good vanny (which is what im calling her cuz idk what to call her) and Gregory go to trap the mimic if you hack and fly around you can see how they did it.(sorry this theory is all over the place but here's the timeline of events) 1.vanny becomes vanny 2. vanny makes endoskeletons and spare masks 3. vanny gets freed 4. good vanny tells Gregory about everything 4.the burntrap ending takes place 5. they seal up the mimic 6.the construction workers come in 7. they leave 8. Cassie gets lured in. but the problem with this theory is if glitch trap virus burntrap and the miimic A.I. are all the same thing then why does the mimic try to kill Cassie if she's gonna turn into vanny? the only way this could be true is if the Brazil ending is true.
I like this theory! there are a couple holes but I think the premise is great
