This repair was done on a 2003 GMC Envoy XL and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

You might want to consider a fender protector (padding, blanket) when the press is banging against the painted finish.

Great post! For the lowers, is it necessary to completely remove the axle or can I just pull the hub side out and tuck it out of the way to gain clearance for pressing it out/in? Thanks in advance!

Why do you undo the axle?
I was wondering the same thing.....my guess is to pull the upper control arm out of the way and give more room for ball joint separation tool and working room away from fenderwell.
It's a glitch in the video. I've seen it in other videos, too.
SHOULD OF PUT UPPER IN THE HEADER!!
