- Take a look at these new skids we picked up. First impressions and walk around on the 385B. Some slight modifications are needed to make the CAT3218 blower mate up we look at that and some of the other features. Will they hold up? Only time will tell.
I like it. I recall early in last year's season you pointed out having to keep the rear clear of snow for good airflow. Seems this thing , with the way everything swings open, keeping snow cleared off will be easier.
Seeing your construction jobs during the summer season is, to me, just as fun and interesting as the winter content. Also the birthday trip you took up the coast was awesome.
I'm not too proud to admit that the driftwood windbreak on the foggy shoreline, then the drone view with music & walking back through the dunes brought tears to my eyes it was so beautiful.

I remember the last season with the snow build up causing the ram to get bent on the Cat. The position of the ram is a good thing on these skitzers.
I like the idea of putting a backup camera on your skid steer. An LED lightbar on top of the cab would be a good investment, I think.
I give the Chinese skids half a season...

You sound like me, "What's this button do?" I hope these work out well for you, keeping it simple definitely has its benefits. Might be a thought to get or make labels as to which is gas and hydraulic oil to be on the safe side and save on potential headaches. You have a great design team, I think you can come up with some really cool decals to put on there. : )
Liugong is a Chinese global manufacturer of construction equipment. They are the 10th largest globally founded in 1958.
I'd never heard of the brand. I do see elements of the design that Cat and others should try to emulate, the question with Chinese-made products is *_DURABILITY._* We'll see how well they hold up to the elements and the strain.
Can I also assume that the warranty will cover all parts and power train? Being an "off-brand" they need to back up their workmanship with a stout warranty that'll at least get them through the season.
. Yes...even with a great warranty. Who will repair them ?

How long will it take to get replacement parts to mammoth WHEN they breakdown?
What's the round thing in the middle of the hood, near the back of the top radiator cover? Looks like a back-up camera?
Probably have to program the switches to run the blower..
Could the Cat fuel intake be modded to allow external input? Might have to fabricate a threaded one-piece bendo-snake to be insurable?
Hope you have better luck than the state of West Virginia. They bought 25 or 30 loaders and they have been complete fucking junk. I would have went with Takeuchi Kubota John deer or basically anything but that brand. Local dealer won’t cover hardly any of the electronics under warranty now everything is just being hacked together to keep them running.
