Thank-you for the clarification. I'll check the archive and see if I have any more video. I was out there for a few hours that day and I might have something more.....
@TheUp1990 no its not a rebuild, its a ex sp, sp had their headlights off set because they had a marslight in the middle where the headlights are supposed to be at
I got a better look and I don't think it's a genset. You're right that it is a rebuild because the lights are usually in the middle and not to the side. A genset is a new switcher that is replacing a few old ones on several railroads. If you can get a pic or vid of the engine from the front, then its easier to tell. But from the looks of it, it's probably just a plain old switcher.

@RCKTBOY7 That's a good question. My answer is a guess; it's a rebuild. You made a nice catch. I'd never noticed that before.
That UP engine is a former SP SW-1500 (i have a model of one). Espee's had the number boards on the cab, while all others had them on the nose.
Ahh I see. Thanks for clearing that up.

@TheUp1990 even thought the mars light isnt there anymore
Cool
I think it looks like a Genset.
You'll have to help me out here and explain what a Genset is?
Everything happens there
