You've been riding motorcycles for a few years now, you should know what grasshoppers taste like... They seem to taste better at speed. That way you don't have time to think about what you are eating- or stop to eat for that matter. And you are absolutely right about trying the food wherever it is you are traveling. If you don't you sure do miss out of some experiences. I had some sort of ant soup(curry?) in Thailand or Cambodia- can't remember. Hopping holy hanna that was the hottest stuff I have ever eaten. Coming from a guy who like habenero peppers. Should have worn a hazmat suit. Stuff was worse than the king cobra venom sac drunk with a shot of whisky... which was an adventure in itself. Good stuff bud! Keep'em coming.
I believed you on each one...until the scorpion. Ha...that looked rough! Awesome video, man!!! Your Espanol is getting so good! Definitely better than mine now. Keep em coming!
Okay this is now my FAV video bro, even over your KLR videos. My Adventure Fine Dining HERO. .. I SOOOO need to travel with you in Mexico next year.. PLEASE
I had to laugh that you struggled to eat the Blood Sausage. Here in Minnesota, it is quite a delicacy. I learned to make it when I was very young. Catching the blood and cooking it down is the most difficult part of the process of making it. But it is well worth it. Some recipes put raisins in it to sweeten the taste. Sometime when you're in the Midwest you'll have to come to central Minnesota for a treat.
Very interesting 🤔... my question is.. are these meals filling?.. seems more like snacks and party favors.. or can you really be satisfied?... I mean I guess you can eat enough of anything and get full 🤣👍🏽 Bring back Lily she’s the star of the show
Lmao I agree! 😅 some of that stuff is, like the blood sausage. The bugs and stuff are really kind of a snack, but they’re pretty filling if you stuff enough of em in a quesadilla
An excellent job ! It’s amazing to see you getting now an amazing adventurer. I absolutely enjoyed watching this reportage. It’s in the vein of National Geographic. Fantastic
Hats off for eating that kind of stuff. Are you still using that GoPro mount? I have the same one and I have to add like two arms in order to get it to tilt somewhat level which makes it rather high. Been looking for a different one but with this Sena brand helmet I haven't been able to find one that works.
Thanks man. Yeah, I like it pretty good. I have to tilt my head back when filming a bit to get the right angle, but it works pretty good. Just straps onto the front w/ 2 straps, el cheapo from Amazon
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond lol.. yea that's where I got the same one at. I seen a video a few months back from a guy in Australia that was using one like it so that's why I chose it.
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond the one he used wasn't available in the US so I'm l using the meknic still currently. I just got in the proshot in this week like what @itchboots uses but it won't work with my Sena helmet. I got the axpower arm deal a few weeks but didn't like all the arms in order to get the first person view so I might be changing helmets soon. What are you using the headphones I see wear? Hearing protection or just to listen to music?
Cool. 😎 yeah, music and hearing protection, sometimes I’ll put the maps girl on there for directions. I recently started listening to podcasts which I’ve found great for long trips
Man you have kicked open the door to culinary experiences with boots & fists blazing !!! If you are still in Oaxaca , I think that there is a group of wood car
HERE IN MOBILE, AL THERE IS A REAL MEXICAN RESTAURANT THAT SERVES LINGUA (BEEF TONGUE) AND BEEF CHEEK TACOS ON FRESH CORN TORTILLAS.... UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS! I TOOK MY COUSIN TO TRY IT. HE WOULDNT! I SAID, CUZ, YOU WOULDNT KNOW A GOOD MEAL EVEN IF IT SAT ON YOUR FACE..... B O O M ! ! ! !
That's awesome you've eaten more crazy stuff than I have.
Gotta be tough Joe to eat bugs, now you can keep face shield up on helmet as your not afraid of swallowing bugs lol🤣🤣👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Let me tell ya, that scorpion had been sitting there collecting dust for quite awhile before I came along. Not my favorite!

Which brand did you end up with?

I know bugs are a good source of protein but I’d have to be very hungry to eat something with more than 4 legs. Good video though 👍.
Thanks man! Definitely not my “go-to” comfort food, but not bad!
✌
✌️😎
Thats a lot of eating out! How much does the avg meal cost u there?
$3-5/av. There’s definitely really upscale places that average around $7-12. Interestingly, it’s usually cheaper to eat out than cook

WOW, THATS A BEAUTIFUL LADY FRIEND YOU HAVE, JOE!
Yes sir, she is 👍
just curious, have ya heard from Scotty? He hasn't posted in like 3-4 weeks. Wondering if he's ok?
Far as I know he’s doing good. I don’t want to speak for him, but he sounded pretty busy last I heard from him
Ok Joe let us know how your stomach is in a week or 2
Lmao 😂 surprisingly I’m still holding up ok
Free your mind...Eat a scorpion. 😀
🤣
