Just finished building mine and for 19.60€, fuck me is it good. I'm risking it and getting all the 1/8 sets from aliexpress. The quality is way beyond what I expected, you can use the official lego instructions, it costs less than a speedchampions set and the only issue is the sticker quality which you can easily order an official set for dirt cheap.
I support lego as much as I can but I can literally buy 10 1/8 sets for the price of the new p1 set
Did you order the P1 set by chance? Curious if so, I am absolutely looking at it and considering. I went to the Lego store yesterday and I'm totally in love with the set but $450 for it is absolutely bonkers. And if so, would you mind messaging me a link to the set you bought for the P1?

I ordered the 42171(merc f1 from 2024) for 25€, if it's as good as the fake 42141 I got, I'm definitely not buying anymore 1:8 sets from lego, they are just too expensive

It's definitely worth it if you're not too fussed on branding. Exact copy piece by piece, hours of building and fun/frustration! 👍

This AliExpress "lego" are not bad. I have some F-1 (red "ferrari" - almost interesting and good model)

Yes, this particular build follows the original 42141 PDF file instructions for the McLaren F1 car, step by step :)

You cannot ell the difference from far away, yes these imitations are great for their price! The only thing is that it can be difficult to piece together since it doesn’t have the same quality as lego. Regardless, it was a fun building experience and i hope they also make an imitation for the mercedes f1.
Update: I now have the f1 mercedes knock off😎 and i only spent 40$
For china amg f1, quality wise is it as good as the other f1 model? Thinking of getting one myself
@@abdulhaseeb9164i’ll keep you updated on that since im still building it. But so far, everything is going suprisingly smooth because the building experience is as smooth as real lego, i kid you not..
update: I’ve finished building it and everything turned out perfectly! no missing pieces or misprinted stickers. It just felt like i was building the original.
Bro the car is made to be able to move. They didn't give you two more springs for the suspension, I don't know how you think it works, but that's exactly why the bottom of the car rubs against the ground!
Don't worry I've since realised 😅 all was fixed shortly after

Hey again man, coming to your comments once again. Do you know by any chance if there's a way to buy for example Ferarri lego livery or any other team? So far I've seen only Merc and McLaren and I know that they are the only official sets and that's why China trying to copy them, but these teams are not really my favourites@@BDF018

I'm unsure if there are any Ferrari specific liveries out there on AliExpress or other similar retailers, but do search terms like "Lego F1" or "Technic F1 Car" and you should see everything these sites have to offer. If you don't see anything, chances are there aren't any available at this time.
