Wow! The entire conversation should be termed the 'Financial Bootcamp Crash Course 101'. The detailed analysis and research-based information were top-notch. Thanks a lot for this. I wish we could have a live section with the guest for a quick Q&A section on digital assets.
My God. Who knew how smart Kenyans are today. She's a complete genius.great home made analysis. Thanks a lot Roselyne and Dr Kingori. You restore our faith in Kenya s future !!!😅😢
Here in Germany most people do not know what investing is, because we have systems that work from health insurances, pensions , loss of work insurances, free education etc. So one wont have a situation where they have to raise large amounts of money for emergencies. So its really normal for people to live paycheck to paycheck.
Such balances are great to have; they take years to achieve but deliver a significant quality of life for people. If a monetary system is people centered, some stresses don't spell financial doom for people.
Simply do this; disregard the market opinions and projections. I'd suggest buying shares of reputable firms and holding them for long that's exactly why investing in stocks now will be the best a favorable decision
Be careful not to be lured into the market too soon i rather be buying low in periods of instability than chasing when market starts to rally, but above all, this current situation has really opened my eyes to the importance of a good mentor on UA-cam or elsewhere knowing what he/she is doing.
Trading used to be a stressful "Rollercoaster Of Wins And Losses with no Consistency. Since learning the rules, all i've done is follow them. The results came effortlessly
Having an investment adviser is the best way to go about the market right now, especially for near retirees, I've been in touch with a coach for awhile now mostly cause I lack the depth knowledge and mental fortitude to deal with these recurring market conditions, I netted over $440K during this dip, that made it clear there's more to the market that we average joes don't know.
Awesome conversation…next please talk about the effect of USA cutting interest rates and BRICKS new form of payment and how all this will affect our investments globally n locally
Thank you! The USA cutting interest rates could make access to the currency easier after the fastest rake hikes in history. That could spell a potential boom for investing in equities and stocks. As for BRICS, it's at least a decade in the making. Dollar reliance is still heavy in most markets & in the event of a recession, transition to using the Euro, Yen or other currency won't be immediate. The effect is that we need to have investments in assets that are likely to weather geopolitical uncertainty or absorb some level of economic shock in the coming decades.
Indeed, they do. It's a great market with its own opportunities and risks; finding what's appropriate for personal priority may take some time and study; yet it's worth it. Thank you for listening in 🙏🏽
The lady is beautiful and intelligent. She should know that I am looking for a wife whose head resembles hers, especially her nose. Anyway, great conversation. I stayed glued for 1 hour 52 minutes.

A person earning 100k in biz, another earning 100k in employment..Who is better? The one who enjoy what they do. Let's not glorify biz so much. Some pple strain perpetually just to make profits in biz.
This is on point. People need to focus on what they deliver the best at be it business or employment as we can't fit absolutely in either as people. Our capacities, motivations and inclinations are diverse.
Let's stay curious 🎉 we're in a dynamic time in the financial scope of things. The benefit is that we're not limited to local options to build or protect wealth.
In 2016, 33.54% of Kenya's population was between the ages of 25 and 54. The age distribution of Kenya's population was as follows: 0-14 years: 40.87% 15-24 years: 18.83% 25-54 years: 33.54% 55-64 years: 3.84% 65 years and over: 2.92% So the denominator for the 75,000 accounts above 100k should be the 25-64 year bracket which approximates to 40% of 53 m - conservative estimate including productive Kenyans outside this age group.
Saving for pension is an impossible dream. From a financial perspective, most pension funds are not aligned with economic realities of life like inflation, sufficiency and health status of retirees. After retirement, most people have at most 5-10yrs to enjoy private medical insirance. After that they become uninsurable due to health risks such as lifestyle diseases. The reality is retiring to enjoy a pension is a fallacy, without taking to account the realities and dynamics of future (after retirement)
Saving and investing are two topics that 95% of the world's population have little knowledge about and, for the 5% that tend to, a huge percentage of those lack the understanding of that knowledge; I will say this, therefore, 50years from today, 2074 to be exact, those of you that still read this comment will have one thing in common, a struggle in the same things you are trying to guard yourselves against today just because you havent spent time to seek out and find truth!
That's a crisis of financial injustice. Unfortunately Kenyan retirees are currently among the poorest globally due to such issues. A recent case affected a teacher whose pension was taken after his death certificate was falsified to claim his pension.
From $10K to $30K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family
I invite you to study the decline of any currency's purchasing power for citizens over time due to money printing & inflation. As an example, a 5-day family trip to Mombasa that might have required 40k a few years ago including travel, full board accommodation, and some shopping now requires at least 70k, or less time there going solo. "More money more value" applies only if your income is higher along with your investing portfolio. Increased currency printing destroys purchasing power; retirees having to go back to work are enough of a testament to that sad reality. What they've worked for decades to retire on isn't enough to live off. Around the world, more people don't even see themselves retiring at all.
@@roselynewanjiru6893 I understand but less money is neither good… it means that people lose jobs and vulberable families cannot afford basic commodities.
