is it just me, or can does the first 15-30 seconds sound like they should have Lotus Juice rapping over them? (I specifically hear the lyrics to Deep Breath Deep Breath when I went through the dungeon)
I've only played P1 with the PSP ost once. My other playthroughs have been with the ps1 ost, so my memory of the PSP ost is a bit hazy. That being said, here's what I remember. A lot of the character themes got renamed and remixed: Nanjo's theme -> Smile Mark's theme -> Appearance! Aki's theme -> The Girl in Black Mai's theme -> Strange Atmosphere Reiji's theme -> Tension All the SQQ dungeon themes were remixed (the four towers and then the Ice Castle). Tesso theme shows up in both versions of the ost as well, although I think that's exactly the same, as opposed to a remix.
A good chunk of the original songs were remastered, but some were slightly altered or changed so much that you can hardly tell that they're the original songs. Honestly makes the decision to replace (or straight up remove) a lot of the tracks all the more baffling. I still like some of the arranges though even if they're not 100% faithful to the tone of the original.
Never understood the hype behind PS1 OST, it's average at best but nothing compared to other megaten games People claim to have that intimating smt-style ost but it doesn't even come close to smt 1,2 and 4's osts
@@junpei6180 personally i think its one of megatens best ost's, its extremely atmospheric (especially during gameplay) and stands out rly well compared to the other games
@@scrappy2082 i dunno, the Boss theme and some dungeron sounds cool but most of the time it gave...i don't know how to explain, like some cheap arcade machines?it is kinda nostalgic somehow but i don't know really why,tho i much prefer the sythwave and melancholy tracks of the other games still
@BitterOrange In the original Playstation version of this track, there is a guy and a girl talking to each other and they say their lines in a strange random order. That acoustic guitar is... Strange, but I kinda like it.
It weirdly works doesn't it
"I'm sad this song was redone"

Beats to have Nihilistic thoughts to - Takahisa Kandori
I think this is the best “sounding” song in the soundtrack
Hunh its a kinda like a remix of the original version
i wonder if there are any other songs like that
(i played with a ps1 ost patch)

everyone do the deva dance!!!!!!
Wow, this is nothing compared to the arrange version
This is extremely specific, but there's always the "I only listen to the version this isn't" in the comments of like every Persona 1/2 video.

@@kbab5329 True, but he has a point: the arranged version is a lot better than this.

It's ok really, nothing that good imo
Finally, music! Not just people talking.
