Adding tretinoin to your scalp also makes minoxidil more effective at penetrating deeper. Using very mild glycolic acid washes once every 14 days also helps, i use salicylic acid washes. These are AHA and BHA that help in making the scalpnot develop fungal diseases that is caused by the excessive drying up of hair by minoxidil.
Interesting I see now that you have created product with Minoxidil after changing your topical formulas many times. I have noticed this pattern with a lot of products claiming they have the natural alternative to minoxidil. It seems everyone switched to minoxidil at the end. so, my question is is there no effective natural alternative to it after all? I would like to hear your opinion
Don't use the cheap propylene glycol formula. It can irritate the skin. Rather, buy the foam version, spay it in the cap, warm it with a blow dryer until it melts into liquid, and then apply the liquid with a dropper.
@@Hairguard but do you know that glycols are penetration enhancers like dimethyl isosorbide. It's also a humectant and won't let your skin get as dry as it would in an alcoholic formulation.
Actually, microneedling is not scientifically proven to improve results, and not without risks - one of the worst is scarring (and therefore permanently closing) follicles
Hey Im not sure exactly what you mean by "regular skin" - You mean it's completely bald? If so, then yes, minoxidil definitely won't work. Hair transplant is your only option at that point.
Hello, I have been micro needling for the past month. Can all of answer this? I apply Minoxidil 5% - 12 hours after micro needling. When I first started application of Minoxidil 5% I could feel a slight sensation. Now I do not any more. Why?? I do not get any physiological side effects. Is my scalp getting used the regime I have started? I am also taking 1mg finasteride.
Yes your scalp is getting used to it. Initially there's probably some mild stinging, but over time you get used to it. Yes you can apply it around 12 hours after micro needling, I think thats fine. I would use a scalp brush too, personally. Because you can use it everyday.
Minoxidil is too expensive here in Chile. Can you please recommend what is the strongest topical that i can use ?I already have a caffeine shampoo ,but it dries the hell out of my hair,so i want to really limit it's use.. i want something that doesn't have shampoo in it. I am already microneedling so i need a topical. Thanks
Hi Nathan, generic minoxidil should not be too expensive. Just don't buy Rogaine. If you're looking for a cheaper option I always recommend a scalp brush. Its very cheap and easy to use.
Honestly I'd just use whichever you feel most comfortable with. I don't think there will be too much of a difference in terms of efficacy. The main issue is actually being consistent. So whichever one you think you'll be most consistent with.
If u dont have massive hairloss, it will be a good solution. It is good to try natural formula with light effect first, then to start minoxidil in long term. I do use redencyl, about 2 to 3 month now. Not sure if my hair grow massively, but my hairloss is now less 30% and im sure it will give more best result
@@Badrolllll I have also started using (redensyl+procapil+baicapil) with biotin tablets, it seems like hair loss is reduced (which mostly I think because of biotin), but for growing new hairs I don't think it helps.

That's because it was once a medication to control blood pressure. If you're experiencing such side-effects, it's surely affecting your blood pressure and cardiovascular system. STOP IT and consult your cardiologist about that. It is a serious side effect.b

You're right the foam version doesn't contain propylene glycol. It's a better option for some people.

The only thing that works for me is the topical spray with minoxidil finasterid from HIMS. Used a lot different treatments but this works best!
this ain’t true fam, my dermatologist told me u can use rogaine on my whole head and it’s worked great.
Actually, microneedling is not scientifically proven to improve results, and not without risks - one of the worst is scarring (and therefore permanently closing) follicles
There have been a lot of studies that show it helps. I agree there are some risks, but it's generally very low risk.
Question: once the scalp becomes regular skin, is it too late for these methods (other than surgeries)?

Nope that’s not true if you catch it early enough it works on the hairline
