Mohamed Ahmed is a great way to experience authentic Egyptian breakfast food like fuul and falafel when you stay in Alexandria. Check out where this restaurant is, what to order, and how much you can expect to pay (hardly anything!) for a delicious meal in downtown Alex.

This looks more like small snack items, i'd have in between meals :) Beans? in the morning? :(// Breakfast to me, should include, eggs of your choice, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, toasted bread / pita, some pastries... if non -veg, beef salamis, fruits, coffee / tea.... Turkish breakfast is a FEAST! : ) with vaiety of cheese, the feta, aged asiago cheese, mozerella, ... the grilled cheese sandwiches also... yogurt drink ayran... ! haha
Yep! Breakfast everywhere is very different. A normal Egyptian breakfast is shared between a group and may include up to 10-12 dishes…I just picked my favorites since I was dining alone.
I was in Egypt last week and on the last two days of my vacation I got food poisoning AND the flu. The flight home was a nightmare and I've already missed a couple of days of work. It's weird because I only ate hot food and used bottled water. Any tips on how to avoid these problems in the future? Thanks.
I'm so sorry you experienced this! Unfortunately food poisoning is something that happens in Egypt (and everywhere...I even have had it in the USA), and sometimes cannot be avoided. In addition to what you shared, I would avoid street food and stick to 5* hotel restaurants if you have a sensitive stomach, and I would look into options for taking medication or supplements to help with any potential digestion issues (talk with your doctor).
Is it easy to find vegan food there?
The most traditional food in Egypt Koshary .. its totally vegan and delicious!
I second what Sherif said about koshary! You can also check out this blog post I wrote with more info: www.egyptadventurestravel.com/blog/a-vegetarian-and-vegans-guide-to-food-and-restaurants-in-egypt-and-cairo

There is an important question. There are some friends who traveled to Egypt and said that there is bullying and racism against black skin. Is this true or not? Please reply.
It's not true egyptains are nice people we don't care about judging people
Hi Hassan, I have heard that happening from some people, yes, but not everyone. I would not let that possibility discourage you from making a trip to Egypt.
Like I’m an Egyptian I have not seen racism against black skin
