An interesting note about this flight. This was my final flight on American, into my home airport of Joplin, Missouri (JLN), before American discontinued service to the market. After over 10 years of service, American operated their last flight into Joplin on May 31, 2021, and United began service to Joplin on June 1, 2021. So, although this may seem like a typical regional fight in the United States. It was actually quite meaningful to me.
I just watched this video on my brothers new 60” tv…. All I can say is holy crap, it’s so realistic, like being right in the plane!!! Great video!!’✈️ The flight attendant or captain (?) sounded sooooooo depressed at the end , LOL
Hi B, not sure if the pilots were lost, but that approach into Joplin seemed to take foooooreeeeeeeveeeeer lol! Anyway, at least you got safely home again so that you can spend some quality time with the family :-) Well done my friend and regards from the UK :-)
Hey Bryce it’s been a wile sconce I commented on your videos but I’m back and I’m flying FSD-DEN-BOI tomorrow. Sioux Falls is a bee nice airport that I think you should visit. Once again sorry for neglecting your videos and I’ll see you in the skies!!
Hey! So I saw what you commented about Joplin being your home airport, so are you originally from Joplin Missouri? If so, that’s pretty sick and keep up the great videos👍
For all intents and purposes, yes. Technically I live in Kansas, and I consider Kansas as a whole my “home.” I moved to Southeast Kansas when I was 6. And with the exception of a few years for college, I’ve lived in Southeast Kansas ever since. 25 years and counting now. You can do the math on how old I am if you really want. For as much as I travel, I’ve lived in very few places. So, although I don’t technically live in Joplin, and I consider Kansas my “home,” I tell people I’m from Joplin, and I’m basically originally from here. It’s the closest larger city. It’s only 20 minutes for me to get to the airport, west 7th street, or even south Rangeline depending on which way I take. I’ve spent far more time in and around Joplin than anywhere else in life. Anyways, thanks for watching my friend! I appreciate it!
There is no shortcuts at DFW! You basically taxied halfway around the terminal complexes to get to your runway! You took off to the south, would've had to make numerous turns to head northeast. The only similarity between AE and UE is both fly the JLN-ORD route. I didn't think the male FA sounded depressed but did have a less-than-upbeat voice. Has JLN ever petitioned SWA to come here or have they sniffed, saying "Thanks, but no"?
A better way to put it would be that both American and United have had, at one point, ORD service. Technically, since United did not send their first aircraft in until June 1, American and United never even overlapped in operation here. As far as I know, no. Joplin has not ever petitioned for Southwest to come here. Although Southwest is changing rapidly, Joplin is not really the size or type of market that they tend to go after. And, with Joplin being on an essential air service contract, it’s unlikely any other airline will ever come in here as long as that government contract exists.
Hi skylight productions please make a video of you flying on a beechcraft plane it's a twin turboprop plane it's like the Cessna 401 but it is a small plane can you make a video of you flying on it full flight.
@@sla31 Ah yes, that virus broke the game for several months. This update sure has worked. Sucks that they have to take away the MD-80/MD-90 add-on planes though? And no more 767's and 757's in American livery or 767 in Air Canada livery among some other removals. ;)

I had the same thought when onboard. I thought, "are we going to Kansas City now?" haha. Thanks for watching my friend!
Great fly! I mentioned Wow Air on your other video. Have you fly Wow Air before they were ceased operations?
Thanks my friend. No, I never flew Wow.

Can you do long videos?
Can I? Yes. Will I? You’ll have to wait and see.

Which Beechcraft aircraft? Beechcraft is a manufacture that makes many different aircraft. King Air? 1900?
Wow
what addon on msfs is that?
It’s an amazing new add on called Real Life Sim 2021. It’s a lot better than the 2020 version. That version had a bad virus.
