You’ll notice my face when I cut the mufflers off after I installed the arm downpipes, yeah donttttt do it!! Lmao it’s so loud! Follow me on ig! @ayewalk
I'm also an owner of a f10 550i and in Illinois. I'm thinking of doing the downpipe later but I'm going to keep the resonator and muffler on. BTW, would sound better with an external microphone.
Catless downs I assume? I think clip 2 & 4 sounds the best. 15 550iGT. And I think clip 4 is where I’ll go! Best option video out there for us n63 owners!
Hey brotha, Before I go spend time taking off my mufflers, is it possible to take that black exhaust tip? They are the same on my 650. please let me know if their welded on or if they can taken off with a hammer or mallet. Thank you
F10 55Oi owner, I want to do this as I only care about getting that jet engine sound @ 2:34. Is it necessary to do the downpipes or will the resonator delete be enough?
2.75 is if you have stock res and muffler, 3 is if you delete them and go with a bigger pipe, if your exhaust is stock and all you are doing is dowpipes then 2.75 is what you want
I currently have the ARM downpipes and am fully straight piped, but honestly it’s a little too loud for me. I’m thinking about putting the mufflers back, how big of a sound difference did it make in person?
I have arm downpipes and stock exhaust otherwise. Not loud enough. The resonator delete with the arm pipes was the right combo for sound in your opinion? Muffler delete was too much? I can see it being too much with the muffler delete.
Just should have done your downpipes.......thats it!!!.....no resonator or muffler delete because the car sounds raspy and cheap.....u need them on for back pressure ......and lastly it sounded like CHRISTINE AT THE END WHENNU WERE BACKING UP.......😡👀🙈🙉🙊
You have to baby these engines or it will cost you dearly. Mine got swapped under warranty from BMW, a $10k job. But if you don't do proper maintenance, methodically, it will cost you.
dowpipes are about 395 from arm motorsports and a res delete depends if you do it yourself but its about 100 - 200 and a muffler delete can be anywhere from 200 - 400 unless you do it yourself
Have had mine for 2 years, replaced 8 spark plugs, 2 ignition coils, 4 coolant hoses and replaced front driver axle. Things I'd say youd expect is coolant leaks, and the engine burns quite a bit of oil
Sounds great, really interested in getting an LCI 550i. Thanks for the vid!
It was perfect with just resonator delete 😎🔥
Personally liked Downpipes and mufflers on and resonators deleted, made the best sound.
The f10 550i has one of the best sounding tt v8s period. Audi could have taken a class from them, McLarens should sound like this
That sounds like a beast
I'm also an owner of a f10 550i and in Illinois. I'm thinking of doing the downpipe later but I'm going to keep the resonator and muffler on. BTW, would sound better with an external microphone.
You ruined the sound of that car man
Was gonna say it sounds terrible

Yeah I got the same sound as clip 2
@1:20 🙌
Should have dont the muffler and downpipes
Sounds great

I wonder the same...
Downpipes will make the turbos a lot louder
Do the exhaust valve mod and resonator delete with a 3in x pipe with the DIY intake. You’ll hear it
Do you get the 2.75” or 3” downpipes
2.75 is if you have stock res and muffler, 3 is if you delete them and go with a bigger pipe, if your exhaust is stock and all you are doing is dowpipes then 2.75 is what you want
Are the other 2 cats still in there. Not the downpipe cats obviously. I meant the other 2.
I pray the
N63 is merciful on you
Hopefully it's a N63tu
Great great video
Man I wish u would have rev the car in each demonstration
Downpipes makes the biggest difference
Can you post a video of in the cabin acceleration?
Car sounds very good👍🏼
psychopickle 03 yes I will do a ride along!!
Sweet man. Can’t wait!
psychopickle 03 cabin video coming next!

Hey man I’m about to do the same. Did you have any issues with the downpipes in terms of getting a check engine light or it running weird?
I have arm downpipes and stock exhaust otherwise. Not loud enough. The resonator delete with the arm pipes was the right combo for sound in your opinion? Muffler delete was too much? I can see it being too much with the muffler delete.
Hey man did the downpipes effect how it runs?
That sounds so evil!!!!!!
Is the car still running good ?
my effin neck
I got arm downpipes on my 550. Do you get very bad exhaust smell? I can’t even drive with the windows down. Smells bad
Blown head gasket
only downpipe ok
Sounds terrible! I belive all stock with downpipes would sound better
Should've kept the stock resonators on. Sounds way too raspy without them. downpipes, stock resonators and muffler delete would sound better.
Just should have done your downpipes.......thats it!!!.....no resonator or muffler delete because the car sounds raspy and cheap.....u need them on for back pressure ......and lastly it sounded like CHRISTINE AT THE END WHENNU WERE BACKING UP.......😡👀🙈🙉🙊
@locallyskatin was there any check engine light issues?
Yes my engine light was on because of the downpipes, has to be tuned out
My n63 does not smoke like this. I recommend doing engine flush, add new oil, then add motor oil save 1.5 cans from liquimoly.
It's just cold it's vapor not smoke
It’s cold the Midwest where it’s 10-30 degrees all winter
🏁🗣✅🎼
Get a res but leave everything else dumped
How is the engine ? I know two people who got them blown
You have to baby these engines or it will cost you dearly. Mine got swapped under warranty from BMW, a $10k job. But if you don't do proper maintenance, methodically, it will cost you.
Did you get o2 error codes since having done the ARM downpipes?
Supah One Yes engine light is on because of it. When I get it tuned it will be gone
You can get the plugs for the downpipes for bypass of the light
Get a JB4 tuner. It clears the codes on every startup
No cel, using vrsf angled spacer for 02
And how much did all these editions cost?
dowpipes are about 395 from arm motorsports and a res delete depends if you do it yourself but its about 100 - 200 and a muffler delete can be anywhere from 200 - 400 unless you do it yourself
Dammn
I like it but sounds kinda raspy a bit I want the loudness but not the raspy ness
I was thinking the same. Sounds better with muffler delete and stock cats, I think. More bass less raspiness.
Put the Res and mufflers back on.
What year?
MoroChuk 2011
@@ctsvwalk local skatin miine is 2013 bmw 550i m sport is that part of the n63 tu just out of curiousity
Too loud in my opinion and the sound isn’t that interesting either.
I agree, it's a Luxury Sedan not a muscle or rice burner. Ruins the prestige.
Its a Muscle luxury sedan. You can take it in a few different directions. Think more along the lines of chargers and chevy SS sedan. Stuff like that
How long have you had your 550i and how is the reliability I’m hoping to purchase one soon
Have had mine for 2 years, replaced 8 spark plugs, 2 ignition coils, 4 coolant hoses and replaced front driver axle. Things I'd say youd expect is coolant leaks, and the engine burns quite a bit of oil
Get a 2014+ with the n63tu. Little more upgraded then the n63
Any drone ?
Lol cars a jalopy 🤣
