- Enjoyed some street photography in the nearby downtown Bryan, TX. Had the film recipe for Porter 400 loaded into the X100V. I tweaked the raw images but most of them are close to what came out of camera.

Thank you! I use Premiere Pro
Really nice photos. That was a great interaction with Gilbert!
Thanks for taking us along.
This was great, Will! Really cool images!
Nice photos and very pleasing video- have the same feeling with the fuji x100 f and the film simulations - will follow you
Glad to see a fellow shooter from Texas, especially on the streets of small-town Texas, where Texas lives… I shot Bryan at dusk, blue hour, late last year with the ‘Queen’ all lit up. We need more shooters from Texas on this platform. See your a fellow Fuji shooter as well, keep em’ coming...👍🤠
It is great you met Gilbert and photographed him. Next time concentrate on when the subject is relaxed and making some natural really cool expressions. Or simply snap before and after the subject strikes a pose. Trust me, it can work. Just snap while taking to someone. If anyone questions what you are doing, tell them the truth. I have a card to hand them. You can use the camera and show them a website of your works. Such pretty young ladies, and friendly -- snap that shot. The 3:37 shot of reflection showing buildings is good, darken out the for lease sign and add HDR a little. At 4:07 there is signage below the step -- might be cool to bring that up so we see the writing. An interesting door. You chose a camera with a 35mm, this means on 5:07 you are very correct that you need to be close. Just set the focus point to the right with your finger on the monitor, walk towards the person and closer to the right, and shoot straight on down the sidewalk. If questioned, tell him what you do. Most times if you snap, and walk past, they think you are shooting beyond. If not, tell the person the setting looked perfect, and show them the photo, if you are stopped. If they are not impressed, you can delete the image. At 6:44, some dehaze and HDR -- bingo! Nearly got the photo at 7:04 -- damn it is not horseshoes -- this happens. But is is good. 7:47 is good composition - watch the top of lamp though. Movie theatre is a cool building! 8:44 is a best shot. Nest time, just for the heck of it, take a couple steps back, be closer to right side, then shoot at a bit of angle towards the left and see what happens. Just guessing. 8:55 is interesting and actually your best couple of shots for the day, taken straight up. Impressive that you saw that -- great vision indeed! I am on the Web if you have a minute to spare. Take care, Loren Schwiderski
I also enjoy ’Portra 400’ and have a 10% Cinebloom on the way.
Very cool! That one of the sky was my favorite 🇧🇷
Same, those were my favs too. Thanks!
Hey man! In ES mode you can use the digital conversion to get up to a 70mm equivalent if you needed more reach. Fun video!
Appreciate it! After I made this I remembered I could’ve done that, all good though, thanks for the reminder.
man i am obsessed with that camera
I'm so glad I came across your channel. I appreciate your low key presentation in your videos, I find it far more effective for learning than the usual over hyped, high energy delivery on other channels. As for the photos, you have a great eye for composition. My favourites were the two images of Gilbert in front of his shop window, and the last images you made in the alley. Thank you so much for sharing.
Keep up the good work
Thanks man
