Outstanding methodology, especially for handling stalls like "I need to think about it". One of the rare Sales Gurus that walked his talk for years and got rich selling...before he taught sales. There are so many industries that could take his system as is...and use it to increase sales dramatically. And most industries would need to make just very minor adjustments.
Objection Handling is also asking questions to identify the concern then acknowledge once it was identified present your ideas or resolution and have it agreed then monitor
I'd watch the movie in 2018, and this was my first step to out of the rat races, and since that I have tremendous respect and admiration for you and your History. This sales classes are helping me a lot. Thank you so much JB
I'm gonna use this today!! You overcome their objection circles back to the point you are making there as well as creates a better communication and relationship with the prospect on a level of understanding and trust rather than, screw this guy who is interrupting my show on my day os powerful. I will let you know how it worked for me later.
Tone of voice is really effective. Doesn’t mean using the right tone of voice is the secret to success in all cases. But it can have a major impact much if the time.
ya thats fair enough, you're not liquid. i totally hear what you're saying. but let me as you a question? do you like the idea, does the idea make sense to you?
Objection handling is most of the time about listening and empathising. You cannot only go off script and make a mess once you STOP listening or understanding the person you are talking with
I'm enthralled by this material. A book with parallel themes was a major catalyst in my transformation. "The Art of Saying No: Mastering Boundaries for a Fulfilling Life" by Samuel Dawn
Really useful and something that can be applied straight away, tonality is something that is massively important but also massively missed when understanding the reasons behind someone choosing your service or ghosting you. Love the energy!
Creating value is a big part so is building enough urgency so the customer makes a decision after my presentation. i do inbound calls so my urgency statement is, "This offer is a one time invite only available today with me on this call. So if you like what you hear and see the tremendous value in it, simply, let me know and I'll help you take advantage of it on this call, sound good? You ready to hear the deal of the year??"
Unlike so many fake sales "gurus", JB actually knows what he is talking about. You can tell he has made millions of sales calls, and is passionate about teaching. Real salesman can always tell a master when they see one. Unlike Cardone who is a Scientology hack lol.
Been following Jordan for quite a while, read his book several times and really learned a lot. Any advice for selling high ticket luxury goods (retail, clothing, jewelry/accessories etc.)? Often times, there isn't really an idea behind such a product, it is what it is, and either someone wants it or not. What exactly should one do in setting up the sale (either a customer calling/messaging you after seeing a listing, or walking in store), handling objections (given that the three 10's are at a good level, and they can afford the product) and overall directing the customer to a decision and closing the sale. I am having trouble with applying the content in the book with this industry, not asking for a complete blueprint, just a nod in the right direction. Thank you.
Probing questions. They targeted you, so they are interested. Ask them what brought them into the store or why they reached out about particular item. Now you know what they want. Take that knowledge and expand on it. Create excitement about the product, create certainty. Yes, this is by far the most popular or the best quality. Validate what they already think while creating excitement. Tell them the price. If they push back, hold firm. “Great product, you’re actually getting a great deal. We have a hard enough time keeping it in stock.” A good way to influence price reaction. Is what you do before you tell them price. The best part about this product is the price. I wouldn’t be surprised if we increased the price on it pretty soon. Have a hard enough time as it is keeping it in stock.
I would include as Max said, Ask them what brought them into the store but in retail, I always used the word "what brings you "BUY" the store today....this can give a little indication that they came for a reason and that is to BUY or Purchase your product. In retail, I still love the Tom Hopkins approach very quick N.E.A.D.S analysis. What do you have Now? What do you Enjoy or like about it? What would you Alter or change about your current product you have? Are you the Decision maker? And, my Solution for you is...... tie this in with Jordan's info and the 3 10's and you will certainly be top in sales. If you can determine why they bought a product in the past, they use the same logic and emotion to purchase the new product. Best of luck sorry for the long reply.
Luxury items aren't about needing, it's about wanting sure. But more than that, it's emotional, it's about how the customer feels by owning it. Focus on what they will feel when they own it. Imagine how you will feel with this diamong on your finger, or when you drive this Ferrary down the street.
JORDAN HELP! I am regularly cold/warm calling prospects. They are 100% my focus but the area I service them in is only about 20% of what they do in a day. I find myself (as a curtesy) trying to speed up the conversations so that I dont take up too much of their time. When I try to slow down I can hear myself start to sound fake or canned. Looking for my own mental internal switch or perspective so that I stop rushing myself. I know it's a long shot that you even see these but it's one of my weak spots rn.
Learn meditation. Just 3-5 minutes a day can help calm down your anxiety. Also realise that 100% of people feel anxiety from time to time. Your emotions are not « special», they are just normal human emotions created by pressure.
This was great I understood, but how would u change the last bit if someone was to say they don’t have time. Instead of asking “let me ask you a question do you like the idea?” It doesn’t fit my purpose and what I currently sell
That’s what’s up , advice bro don’t tell anyone your next move look at it as a game of chest a king makes big moves but never reveals his next move only shows after the attack

He says, they need to be in the 10s of certainty level on three categories, product, salesperson, and company, is they aren’t then you’ll get no’s all day long.
Go back to one of his trainings. You'll almost never get a NO because by the time you've gotten to this point you've already qualified them. Now it's a matter of them trusting you when you get to this point.

As he should. What if someone wants their money back after doing business with you or any of your Companies, Jordan Belfort?! Do you give them their money back or not?!
Love how he didn’t write anything down it’s all about perception. Love the points and couldn’t agree more. One of the select who gets it.
