brooo i also noticed the crazy decline in my viewer count after i uploaded a few shorts. First it really seemed to help and added value to my channel. But a day later, everything broke down dramatically.

This video is a bit outdated. I think they fixed most of the issues. Just test if long form content would theoretically work for you, and then decide what you want to do :)

Try to do original things once you go over to normal videos, or try starting to alternate between shorts and normal videos.
