Hot temps trigger trouble

The nectar flow has vanished this week which leaves us with huge ! numbers in our hives with not a lot of work to be doing. We've taken the opportunity to make some more splits and asses our potential honey crop.
last weeks hot weather triggered a mass of swarms locally, reports of bees in gardens public places and even schools. We collected one locally and even caught a swarm on our driveway 😣

You can peel the cell walls off of the wax foundation on new comb to see the larvae better when grafting.

Do you think you could do a short video on how your split boxes ate made. Im mainly interested in the roof and the yellow bit in the middle I assume is for a feeder, and also what feeder you use on them and for how long.
