It was a great joy and pleasure to sing this "big boy" rep in The Academy of Vocal Arts Farewell (Graduation) Recital). Absolutely possible -- I've sung the whole role of Figaro in Le Nozze and have sung that aria for many years
This opinion may be unpopular, but I much prefer to hear you sing like this than with the Bass Gang. You all have wonderful voices, but with several low voices singing together the sound starts to get muddy. I’d rather hear you shine!

Beautiful singing Peter! Most basses who sang Attila have different interpretations of singing the role, like Boris Christoff who I happened to admire as one of the big top ten basses I have influence of listening, including Marcel Journet, Ezio Pinza, Nicolai Ghiaurov, Cesare Siepi, Feodor Chaliapin, Jerome Hines, Paul Robeson, Nicola Rossi-Lemeni, and our hero, Samuel Ramey himself. I have been vocalizing that aria hundreds of times while earning my BA degree in studio art and I have been told I should get training to improve styling the vowels and nuances of my low voice, which unusually goes from a baritone to a basso profondo or even Eric and Geoff's vocal territory of subharmonic bass singing.
