SeeeD are a legendary band in Germany, getting that dub/dancehall/reggae-experience live with a big band is something truely special ! I saw them live in 2004 in Berlin, Wuhlheide, 17.000 people, one of the craziest nights ever !
More Seeed, please! I've seen them live about a dozen times in 2022 alone and it's an amazing experience. Here are some tracks you might wanna check out: Seeed - Augenbling (one of their biggest hits, a very catchy tune) Seeed - Waterpumpee (also one of their bigger hits, rather close to Roots but with some Ragga elements. The riddim (Doctor's Darlin') is very popular in the international reggae scene. Waterpumpee was also the only German number 1 hit in Trinidad and Tobago, ever) Seeed - Dickes B (from their first album from which many Reggae purists say is the best they made) They are a blast in concert and if you like reacting to live footage, I'd recommend doing so. Live at Lollapalooza 2015 is available in almost it's entirety. Komm in mein Haus from their latest album is also available as a live version on UA-cam. And there is the ~15 minutes cut of two of their concerts in Mönchengladbach in Berlin from 2013. Peter Fox, one of their lead singers, also released two amazing solo albums. Frankie did so too, with considerably less success. That rather means though that especially Peter Fox's first album was such a major success that nobody quite managed to replicate it. To this day it's the best selling German rap-album by a lot. The third lead singer Demba sadly passed away a couple of years ago. His solo projects are absolutely worth it as well though, as is Tutti Bounce, a small ensemble consisting of 3 Seeed members and guitarist Dirk Berger. If you like instrumental afrobeat, go for Tatooine Transit or Jackie on their UA-cam channel. But - first of all, I'd love to see you reacting to some more Seeed. :D
Seeed is more specifically about dancehall than "classic" reggae, even if they did some OG reggae in songs like Waterpumpee and Aufstehn, Frank Dellé did an awesome cover of Frankie Goes To Hollywood "Power of love". "German reggae, WTH?!" Man, you need to check out Nina Hagen "African reggae" from 1979.
I was about to write the same thing. It's not actually the classical reggae, it's dancehall, a subgenre of reggae. And while reggae is not the most listened music style in Germany, there are examples like Culcha Candela (also a german Dancehall band) or the artist Gentleman, that had huge hits in the german speaking countries.
@@sarcasticconsultant378 And which reason is this? I can't connect PUR with Tote Hosen in this case. Is it because you are a Die Ärzte Fan? Is it in a way like, if you are a supporter of Hertha BSC you can't like 1.FC Union?
Great reaction! Seeed are such a vibe.
Thank you.
We need more SEEED and Peter Fox reactions.
Come on Xsezz
I hear you, LoL! Any specific suggestions?

No, the one who passed is not Frank Delle. Demba Nabe is his name.

Oh boy, it's all coming together again in Germany. :D

Uhh...Seed...🙂
Back then, one of the 3 german bands the easiest to fill a stadium with (in GER)...
Rammstein, Seed, Die Ärzte...
The crowd is huge.
